You’ll also have the tablesaw fence brakes…my mother has gone home so things here are settling down. I’m still working on my radio set up and getting my ham radio license. Bought a vevor portable welding table and what a nightmare!! It’s still not working! Missing parts, wrong parts, horrible…absolutely and throughly horrible directions… so I’ve been dealing with that and vevor. But I’m on the fence brake…it needs some tweaking so I’m trying to represent the issue correctly. Great episode!! Over and out!
All good in my books. I am working to get that "brake" here from another saw owner hehehe..... I've been plagued with bad tools for the show this year, but nothing from Vevor that was bad. Off brands etc that came in. One company even sent me a 2nd one and same deal. Broken in the box...wow.
Grabbing up a couple of these bad boys!!! The biggest plus for me…going fishing at night…this provides both insect protection AND, low intensity lighting! Portable convenience is huge! Great tool!!
Darn thing is still here in the backyard right now and working. The raccoons are feeding off the dead bodies each night LOLOL
Thanks...... I was looking for this, just some patience to do it and try to not destroy them, I have this same Bose speakers with the same problem, I will fix them next weekend !!!
Number one, do not rush the job and Good luck
Kia Ora, bro ...
Kia ORA !.....Always good to hear Peter check in from NZ 🤠
I got to get one 🤫
Get one free roll of filament too
Thank you for sharing. Recently I got a TTC 450, and I would like to ask you what post processor to use with this machine; I have V-carve. Thank you for your help.
Hope you don’t have a problem with vevor products because they will hang you out to dry save your money don’t buy vevor
WE NEED A LINK 😅😅😅😅
To be announced
Great tool and accessories. I agree that most times I’m working with a rotary tool it is usually in a more central location and power is available and I have better control of lighting. That works for my needs. With your portable power source you have the ability to be anywhere. Stay cool, stay safe and have a great day.
Hey, you TOO Thom, I was looking at the sale prices at Geekbuying for 3d printers, but can't much about "the one to buy" Hold your money for now LOL
@@SirTools thank you. I looked over my finances and decided that I have a $250 monthly tool/toy budget. If I find something that ricks all the boxes I’ll either ship a couple/few months to save up or just buy it then and tell myself no new toys for a while. This months new tool was the Ryobi triple battery pack and I added the 18 ga brad nailer. That way I don’t have to dig out my compressor and other nailer. Most of my projects are small so this should work great.
I was looking at the $170 to $200 range, but they are just not the best for "plug and play" etc...
Looks like the vevor 200 watt portable solar panel
Does look about the same
Awesomeness
thanks
I've been watching videos about a few of these recently - I'd love one but as these probably won;t go through a 2" x 4" I'll be better off with a normal track saw. Having said that this is the first - only - one I've seen with that side handle.
That handle was something new.
Thank for the information
The vevor power bank you have is rated to take up to 120 Watt solar panel. You are risking damage to the power bank using those higher solar panels.
That's was another reason to switch over to another power station
It’s nice to see that you can make what you need. Here is a question from an old, cheap guy… I’m sorry, a mature frugal individual. I’ve watched your videos for a long time. I don’t know what I would do with either, but is there anything that you would recommend for a laser engraver/cutter or a 3D printer for around $250? I have no projects in mind but feel like I’d like to expand my maker skills. Being retired with lots of free time, in fact, more time than money 😀, means that I’m looking for those creative outlets. Thanks for sharing and have a really great day!
Hi Thom, I might look at the USED market, but beware, Sometimes that's a rabbit hole. I do like a number of the lower priced 3d printers that run in that area and they are great "starters" for anyone young or old. There are a number of makes and models and sometime a SALE price that is under $200 which would be a less stress on a budget. Tell you what Thom, I'm going to check the market before recommending anything.
@@SirTools thank you… I could go higher on the cost but since I don’t have any projects waiting to be done I guess I just tentative of sinking the cost into something I might not use. I also whole heartedly agree with you that a used printer or engraver could be really iffy.
A1 mini or the A1 from Bambu Lab or even the Ender 3 V3 KE but the A1 series seems to be amazing from everything I read. Can get them with the AMS system and add it later if you decide to do multi color or multi material to save on upfront cost.
Kia Ora, my friend ....
Kia ORA ! HOT and HUMID here today 🤠
@@SirTools A rather cold start to the day here this morning ...
WoW, make look new again ? NICE. 😍
Yes it is :)
Can the Vevor resaw wood though? It seems you would only really be buying a 14 inch bandsaw if you planned on resawing wood. Like how would it do with a piece of 6 inch red oak stock?
Go slow LOLOL
I'd buy this if they made a smaller 10 gallon version. The smallest they make is 15.
Wish there was a 5 gal or something, would be great for oil changes.
I was at a friend's place, and he was working on an old Ford dump truck (diesel). The batteries were dead, so he pulled out a lithium-ion jump starter and power pack he got from JF. Without hesitation... I bought one and use it when I head to the lawn. My tractor only gets cranked these days when I'm out mowing! It never fails to fire up that little diesel. I mostly use it for the tractor, but I keep it in my wife's car to ensure she doesn't get stranded. I also got one with an auxiliary compressor. Tired of flat lawnmower tires. It's the bee's knees. I have a 12-foot enclosed trailer where I store my Hustler 52, and that's where the jump starter resides. Along with tools. I call it my Mobile Storage. Heh-heh-heh.
I like that Mobile storage LOLOL...cool idea !
Kia Ora don't need one here at the moment we are coming into winter !!!
Kia Ora, are those little buggers there too ? and winter coming....I hear ya !
I need about 10 of them too! The mosquitoes are ao bad this year they can carry a person away. 🤣🤣🤣 Link, please.
@@SirTools Yeah! ...they are here but with the winter they tend to die off and wait for the summer!!!
We get them for a week or two and suddenly gone again. I've heard all kinds of crazy theory on where they go. Back to the marshes if it's wet etc....so rain and wind and we either have them or they are not around...strange I guess here
amzn.to/4bSaf1M
Great video… I have one of the little desk top one that sucks the bugs in… it does get bugs but in my case I figure the rwo or three it seemed to catch was underwhelming. The solar powered bug machine really looks interesting. It would be great if you could do a little short of it set up at night and have it over a white sheet or something just to see the carnage. As a fellow mosquito dislike (hater is such a ‘negative word’) part of the appeal of the old big zappers was watching/hearing the little buggers getting fried. Thanks for sharing and hope you have some bug free days!
We do love that crackle sound of crispy southern fried mosquitoes LOLOL
Here in Eastern North Carolina, I'll need 5!!!
I heard that, a buddy is up there right now in NC and he said something about getting dragged into the bushes by the mosquitoes to finish him off ...
Nice product 😄
Did better than expected
The mosquito catcher... Add yeast, which produces CO2, which attracts the skiedders!
Ya, doesn't work here, we tried several years in a row and not even ONE dead bugger LOLOL
I purchased recently a two trees ttc 450, im getting a error code ¨ hard limit ok¨´ on the screen, i tried to disconnet power several times n still the same error on the screen, is there something i can do?
Yes, my last error code on a CNC, I added a gcode line that reset to factory, and that fixed the issue.
@@SirTools Thank you for replying! How id do that!
I'd check other KZread videos to get all the info you need for adding that into the Gcode. It has worked for me.
Thanks for that lesson.
I think this product is better than Gooloo's; you can compare them.
got mine on clearance right now amazon 44 bucks,, thanks for review
I love mine and use it constantly with no issues. Hope you enjoy !
nice set! Wish it went to 1.5 inches and at least 27mm. They always stop just a bit short then you have to buy singles for the rest. Still a very nice set at a great price!
The deeper cuts that peter out is due to carbon build up at the bottom. carbon is a great insulator and does not burn (its the result of something being burned 100% so yeah) The laser will cut much deeper if u could remove the carbon as it is generated, which might be why air assist helps cut deeper. A more informative test would be to use a thick piece of wood and run lines, not circles side by side , spaced maybe 1/2 apart and with increasing number of passes. and then use a saw to cut the board across all the lines and then compare all the cuts.
Great video,, my safe guard is wobbling and don't know what's causing it ...help.....
Kia Ora, Impact Socket Set always come in handy anywhere in the world!!
Kia Ora, your so right there Pete !
@@SirTools We have the day off this coming Monday, regarding the Kings Birthday!!! 0h! ...that doesn't concern me as I'm retired!
Love this stuff , 5 stars 😎
Vevor make pretty good workshop tools. Pretty solid quality, and affordable. Their Helicoil insert kit is (or rather was) a really good buy, however I think they have discontinued it.
Discontinued ? Could be they are making some change to the product specs etc. I like the prices and the quality is "good enough for me". I don't need PRO tools, getting too old for that LOLOL...
Kia Ora bro ...
Kia ORA.....there he is ! Hope all is ok down there in Kiwi Land.
@@SirTools Yeah!! ...all is good here the weather is not bad ...not cold nor hot !!!
Good to hear it. Weather here today was VERY humid and 90deg....Typical Texas.
Love the products reviewed today. 3D printer guys always have the thing you want or need! 😊I usually enter the give-away if I had even a small idea that I might have a use for it. I currently have one battery operated tool so I’m going to pass on this one. It isn’t that I don’t like the tool holder and charging shelf but I have no need. Thanks for sharing, have a safe and fun Memorial Day weekend!
You and me have no need LOLOL
STop breaking your tools
Huge miss for this channel OP. The Grippr needs to have a wipe of the bottom of the tool with IPA (and ideally your material with a wet paper towel. 15 seconds of prep avoids every "point" made by OP (including the 3D printer version!). Ooof. Sorry for you hard miss here brother, but I like the energy of your channel! I down voted this video but I subscribed. :)
Junk
Well, I also have this sander and need to replace my capacitor... but I am unsure of whether it is a "start" or "run" capacitor... from what I can find, it seems to be a run capacitor... how did you determine it was a start capacitor?
Inside the motor there is a tiny centrifugal switch that is for the "start" windings only. If the motor just hums and bumps back and forth, but using a quick spin on the motor gets it up and running, that is the "start" cap which is used to get the motor running and then the "run windings" take it from there. In some cases you can hear the click seconds after the motor is started and coming up to speed.
@@SirToolsInteresting... mine did seem to have that behavior (hand spinning it seemed to get it going... unsure if I heard a click or not), after several uses in this state over a year or so, it wouldn't really maintain any power so I stopped using it. Your video gave me the courage to dig into it! After I took everything apart (disk and drive belt disconnected), it would start up fine and slowly (over 4-8 seconds) loose power until it stopped (this is without anything connected to the motor, just the fan). During my last test, it started up spinning great and about 5 seconds in it suddenly lost power (as indicated by spin speed... maybe 50%), then the capacitor 'squeaked' and started smoking. The capacitor has SH CAP on it and 25uF +10%/ -5%, 250V.AC. I can't easily get into the motor to look and see the centrifugal switch. I'm pretty sure we have the same model (137.215360). I'm surprised it didn't have 'start cap' on it to indicated it was a start capacitor.
Does sounds a bit "fishy", once it reaches full speed it should not slowly drop out. Could be bearings or other issues. Maybe even damaged windings. For the tiny price of a capacitor I'd try swapping out that, it's an easy job and just might fix it. If the windings have gone bad, well...that would be another topic.
@@SirToolsThanks! That is my plan...
Good luck, I think you'll be ok.
Geez, I wish they’d shipped that over with the plasma cutter…I’d have matching set! I like the way the bestarc opens also! A much better system than the vevor. But, I have the brand new vevor and the bestarc plasma…so I’m happy. I AM disappointed in vevors folding welding table though. Still waiting for them to get back to me. They sent me wrong parts and I’ve not been able to finish the welding project I’m on. I like this machine!!
The BestArc seems to be pretty darn good, I didn't review the welding table from Vevor because I have the HoboFreight one and can tell you, the HB is junk and I had several accidents with that table before doing some test welds LOLOL. The side loading does allow for bigger spools, but the top loading for me is better.
Looks like the green stuff needs to be replaced after sometime
Is this a paid advertisement? Your video is on the amazon page for the vevor router
On Amazon ??....No paycheck here ...geeez
Thank you! I am in the search of a workbench for my limited space "shop" at home (laundry/storage room) and this seemed like a good idea on Amazon, but I needed a better look at it and ypur video was very useful, I might try to convince my wife of the need for this purchase.
Work shop space is tight and with wheels it really can make a difference. Glad to hear from you !
Thank you sir I was hoping to find somebody with intelligence to show me how this thing works I got a weld The idler arm bracket and bought yhis welder for 60 dollars! Using E7018 1/8”
Good DEAL...wow..
It's manifold absolute pressure, not mass air pressure.
So did you buy the indie or studio. I am still on the fence.
Hi Karl, me 2. Some time in the future I'd like to do a full show CAD drawing to 3d print etc and look at all the aspects of Plasticity.
@@SirTools hey sound good would love to do a show with you on that. I been looking around but I have not seen anyone do that.
There you go ! Might end up with more questions than answers LOLOL...But, we could look at the quality of the printed part, the STL file, the gcode etc and just ..oh..heck, maybe even compare to Fusion 360 for the same part...mm...Might be a cool show !
Kia Ora ...just got my monthly power bill ...NZD$121.64
Kia Ora, once the summer kicks here I'll be seeing those $350+ a month bills...oUCh...actually with your weather that one is not cheap mmm
@@SirTools Well that not bad really USAD$74.32 per month ...
Just about dollar for dollar same here ...for now...SUMMER is coming to Texas and it will be hot and my electric bill will go up...
Nice and compact :)
Anyone reviewing this is not honest They’re being paid. I bought one to try it out and it’s very weak. Nothing like the ones from Home Depot. But you get what you paid for
mm...no paycheck here mmmm still using it day to day and happy with it.
