How far apart are the vertical pieces of wood?
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING ALL THE Materials you used. I love watching your Video. Off to the watch the next Video
Great video. Thank you. I am assuming you ended painting the entire wall again and not just the moulding. Painting just the moulding could be difficult.
If you don't glue the joints, in time the joints will show. Even if you wood fill them, the wood will expand and contract with temperature changes and the seams will show. So glue them or better yet prebuild the whole unit with the Kreg pocket hole jig system screws.
What an awesome job!
Thank you! I still look at it in awe! The paneling makes that wall look 1000 times better!🙌
What size brad nails did you use?
It needs to be 18 GA brad nails. I don't recall the exact length but we did use a smaller size for the smaller trim.
I’m confused what size wood panels are horizontal vs vertical
You will find the sizes of all the boards on the description above. The board and batten sizes are all the same size (1x4). The bottom piece is larger (1x8) because we put the baseboard over it and we wanted it to still look like it was 1x4. The 1x3 board that I linked is for the top ledge that sticks out a bit. I did that so I could place small decorative objects on it such as picture frames. I hope this answers your question.
I love it going to do the same thing in my living room
Thank you! It makes such an impact! I know you will love it!
Stunning! You have inspired me. Anyway to find out what paint you used and what finish?
I am so glad you found this video helpful! I linked the exact paint we used in the description above. It is called "Cabinet Coat" Paint.
When she says 'we're...she actually means 'HE'.
Looks great!!! Please protect your lungs and wear a respirator inside. 😢
I was thinking the same thing..... 😷 Up💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
For the inner moulding, what size of wood did you use? Very beautifully and professionally done. I very much like the added elegance it brought to your already beautiful room.
Thank you! You will find links to everything used in the description above. The inner mouldings are lined as well. I hope this helps! Have a great day!
When do you ever caulk after painting?
W H Y? THE CAUKING SEEMS TOTALLY UNNECESSARY.
Nice
Thank you! It makes such a big difference!
А ГДЕ ЕДА?
Questi tovaglioli hanno rovinato tutto👎👎👎👎
Where will you put the food? On the green branches?
I like to display all the food on my kitchen island and we serve ourselves there. If you like to have the food on your table you can still have the Christmas trees and candles without the branches.
Дякую за новорічний настрій❗️❤
А где место для блюд с вкусностями ?
Very classy. 🌹
Thank you so much ❤️
Lovely. Love the green touches. 😊
Thank you
I love that shelf for your mugs and those light up glass trees. Would you share the link? Ty😊
The shelf is from TJMaxx and the light up trees were from the Dollar Spot at Target. No links available but you can follow me on LTK to see similar products. www.shopltk.com/explore/Simply_Lovely_Living/
@@simplylovelyliving ok great. Ty
Really cute. And except for the Santa and tree, of course, your decor doesn't scream "Christmas " so you don't have to rush to take down on January 1st. Just very wintry and cozy. 😊
Love your mantelscape. Are those faux greens? Would share a link? Ty😊
Yes they are faux. You can shop my Mantel decor or similar products here. liketk.it/4o3YO
@@simplylovelyliving thank you. 😊
Idk if those are, but i would never use real greens on a dining table or tie it on to napkins. For people with allergies, like myself, greens and Christmas trees are triggering. They hold mildew, mold and even the oils can cause a reaction.
These are fake but obviously look very realistic. My favorite pine stems ever!
@@simplylovelyliving they do look very real lol. 😊
Troppe cose!!
So beautiful! ❤
Thank you so much ❤
Wow! Beautiful! ❤
Thank you!
You're welcome! ❤️
Nothing like chatting with someone at the table with a big candle blocking their face.
The candles are very thin. They don't block anything or anyone.
Very pretty! Careful with the fire though! 😅
Thanks! I use LED taper candles but I like to use real flame for my votive candle holders. Very safe! 🙌
So pretty!
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful!
Thank you so much!
Christmas tree is lovely and I love real but sadly decorations are basic and doesn’t look good.
❤
🎉
Thanks ❤️
Really nice job and the tips are practical for a smaller tree as well. Makes me confident to try a real tree this year. Could you add a few maintenance suggestions, how often to water it and if there is sap on your floor how to clean it.
You totally should! I have grown to LOVE a real Christmas tree and the upkeep is really not bad at all! I don't water the tree too regularly. Only if I see the water running low and that only happens more often on the first week. The sap tends to stay on the tree. Some trees have more than others. The one I got this year has a lot but I don't notice it unless I am fixing an ornament and it gets on my fingers. Some needles will fall and I just vacuum them up. Not a big deal at all. I hope this helps!
I absolutely love your Christmas tree! I believe firmly that a fake tree should be made and decorated to look like a real tree. I have a fake tree, but it looks real. This year my daughter (17) decided that red and silver should be the main colors, and to go for a more snowy, berries pinecone natural look. And it looks beautiful!
I totally agree! When I get a fake Christmas tree in the future I want it to look as realistic as possible. For now I still enjoy this tradition with my boys. I bet your tree looks amazing!
Naturally pretty❤
Thank you!
Yazzzz. Cool project.
Beautiful
👍
Love you from Pakistan
I would like to see how you meet up your baseboards. I have outside corners and am trying to figure out how to do the baseboards.
Thanks
