Hi Lucie, it's Mick in the UK. Isn’t this just fabulous? So talented. Emily records her part live, as you see it, in her home studio, where she is helped with her guitar tutor Simon Tomkins behind the scenes in the background. The recording is then taken to Sound Struck Studios in Dubai, where drums are added, and the recording is mixed and mastered. Emily is a very busy young lady. You mentioned school, well Emily gave up school about three years ago, because it got in the way of her music. She now teaches herself at home, when time allows. Sorry you have such negative opinions of yourself. I was a boy, many many years ago. Average looking, not tall, average smarts etc. first “romance” age 21. Found an average young lady age 23, married her at 25 and first kid at 30. Another son at 32. Worked three jobs for almost 20 years give my family more than I had. Cut back to two jobs for another 20 years then after wife and I had serious medical issues worked another 10 years to pay doctors. Retired at 70 and now selling assets to augment bidenomnicks. Yeah, being a human is tough. Thanks for the reaction of my favorite singer and a great song. Take care

Thank you Lucie, you made me laugh at the beginning, Emily is definitely amazing and it may seem a little unfair for one person to have so much going for them , accomplished pianist, great guitar skills, beautiful singer, songwriter, gorgeous music compositions, and a lovely looking young lady, but she is also one of the hardest working individuals you will meet. Music is her passion, she seems to have known that all her life, so her talents have developed over her 16 years and are still developing right in front of our eyes and ears. Yes she is still in school but does her classes online to give her more time for her music. On top of all that she seems just a lovely person and I can't help but be in her corner cheering her on. Thank you so much Lucie for the lovely reaction. It was amazing reading through her youtube comments how many people were taking this song and relating it to someone in their lives, a parent, grandparent, sibling, there was even a Pastor who said he would use the song in his hospice with families because Emily put into words what many would be feeling. A touching tribute song. Now, Emily never tells us if it is directly about someone in her life, the most we get is a comment she made that she tried to imagine writing a letter to someone she cared for deeply. I certainly hope this came from her brilliant imagination and not saying goodbye to a loved one but that is an inevitable experience for us all at some point in our lives. A song like this can bring some comfort to someone hurting. Take care Lucie and thanks again.
It could be one of her brothers, they attend University in Norway and live with their paternal grandparents. Listening to the words again it is possibly a Grandparent or she might just have a very strong ability to empathize with what a relationship break up could feel like

Seeing as you seem to like these musicians as well, wondered if you had heard of thDanish National Girls choirs, who are very good. You could try Nunc Dimittis, O Magnum Mysterium, Blackbird or Lux Aurumque, by the Senior choir DR Pigekoret is the name tol look for DR Juniorkoret, the middle choir do very good with "Kimer i Klokker"', or also "En rose sa jeg skyde & The Rose" DR Bornekoret, the childrens choir, do very good with the songs; Pa en gron Bakketop, Ride Ranke/Oppe i Norge-Honsefodder, or Selmas Sang. The Bornekoret are accompanied by the great Danish folk group "Dreamers Circus" I think if you gave them a chance, they would soon bring a smile to your face with their professionalism. They are very ggod
