    I have shot 1000’s of rounds through this gun, ranging from 165 grain to 230 grain in weight, jacketed, non-jacketed, hollow points and ball ammo, all of which it digests without complaint. On top of that, this firearm lives in a less than desirable environment, routinely being exposed to salt air and the humidity of the Texas Gulf Coast - for 26 years! With all that, it has earned my confidence!!

    It's really a Deceptive Trade Practice. The Texas Attorney General office needs to investigate this type of thing. Advertise a new bike for $4900 and they tack on prep, freight, documentation and other non tax fees. I looked at a new tw200 a while back and told a local dealer no thanks. Waited and pounced on a mint condition 2012 Tdub at half the cost and couldn't be happier.

    MMI Graduate and professional power sports mechanic here also owner of 2019 TW200. Here is what I would do call Yamaha customer service and tell them about that vent hose and the improper assembly and pre delivery inspection. Ask for extended warranty to be paid by dealership and a reprimand for technician,service writer,service manager for the unprofessional and unsafe preparation of your motorcycle. Where is that battery acid going to overflow? Could it cause injury? Damage to motorcycle? People will get burned at that dealer but this is just not how getting a new motorcycle should happen with money being charged for preparation.

    It is. I’ve been trying to find a nice used one but prices are damn near that of a new one, minus those damn fees! We sold a couple dirt bikes and used the money to get the TW. The goal was to have a street legal bike that would still be capable for the kids to ride around the property and have a low enough seat height for the wife!

    I often wonder what goes through the heads of engineers - especially those in the automotive industry. It’s like they design things and have an unrealistic expectation that they won’t break. Another reason is that it forces the average Joe or Jill to bring their vehicle to a “Stealership” for said repair.

    I have the 90s series and want to replace the Thermostat Internal-Bias (3387134). I think it is sometimes referred to as a Cycling Thermostat. What is the easiest way to access it? I replaced the Thermal Cut-Off, Thermostat, and Heating Element but wasn’t sure about the Internal Bias.

  • @TexasPatriotOffRoadAndOutdoors
    @TexasPatriotOffRoadAndOutdoorsАй бұрын

    If I remember correctly, mine was located on the heater element housing. You can check if it’s bad with a VOM, using the ohm setting. I would guess that to be your culprit. Good luck and thanks for watching.

    I need your help. I am up here in communist Canada and my Kenmore 90 series dryer is not starting. I first checked the circuit breaker and it’s fine. I noticed the door switch was no longing clicking and just dangling and the light in dryer would not come on when I opened it. So I replaced it. Dryer still would not start. Not sure if this means anything but there was a time for a few years that the dryer would continue to spin when the door was kept open and there was no light that came on. I tested the thermal fuse with multimeter and it was unclear so I replaced it and still the dryer would not start. I tested the start button and it is working. Is it fair to assume the terminal/electrical port is fine bc the light comes in when I open the door so there is power to the dryer? What else is it likely? Before I open it all up, is there a way to test if the belt is fine bc I can spin the dryer with my hands from the inside. I am afraid if I remove the drum that I will not be able to put it back on. What else can I test, or it could possibly be?

    I submerged my 2015 T4 and the engine shut off under water, no moisture found in air box but water did get into motor through exhaust. Pulled plugs and flushed it with Marvin's M. Oil. Replaced plugs, Oil, and filter. Now just turns over with vapor in the crank case. Think it needs to be torn down? Have a bore camera coming in tomorrow.

    I have a few of questions: How long did it remain with water inside? Have you checked for spark at the plug wire? Is it getting fuel? Let me know!

  • @kick-start-or-die

    @TexasPatriotOffRoadAndOutdoors oil was changed, and motor has been flushed multiple times, currently filled with Marvin's. Yes spark at both plugs, Fuel pump kicks on, and pulses when turning over, not sure how to check psi. All fuses good. I can see standing water in my belt housing, going to drain that tomorrow

    @@kick-start-or-die I would pull an injector and double check you are getting fuel. You can also spray starting fluid (ether) in the intake and see if it attempts to run. If it does, you have a fueling problem. If it doesn’t, you have an ignition or timing problem. If you hydrolocked the motor and attempted to turn over, you could have damaged the valves, resulting in compression issues. I would also conduct a compression check. Remember, always start with the basics.
