This video is amazing! I have audi a7 3.0 BiTDI with 157 000km. Having p0299 underboost issue, changed the turbo but the car is still getting limp mode. I read online that this is the issue, well done and thank you for showing. I will be doing this tomorrow! great video, hope this fixes my underboost issue!

Was any symptoms in that car,before you cleaned..?
@vagdiagnostics19028 ай бұрын
No there was no symptoms as such...I did notice poor fuel mileage but I was also curious to see the conditions of the intake pipe so I took it apart during my oil service to inspect.

My 2015 has 309,000 miles and does this for 0.3s. When I change the oil and the filter housing is empty, it does maybe for 0.8 seconds so is just oil pressure I think.

Hi there! Did you had to do any sort of adaptations following removal and putting it all back together? Did you had any faults coming up afterwards?

I purchased an 2016 A6 TDI with 52,000km and now have 80,000km, I have so much carbon build up its just about blocked. Can 80,000km do this much blockage? Im begining to think that maybe this car has way more kms on it than the Odometer says. I'm suspecting dealer rolled back the kms...

Solid video; thank you! Did you end up removing and cleaning the intake manifold as well, or just stop at the end of the video's coverage? Nevermind.... I read a few comments and quickly found your answer to that! :D I'm currently working on my Q7's TDI, and I'm finding removal of the manifold to be waaaaay more difficult than anyone makes it out to be in the videos. They like to say, "okay, now remove the intake manifold..." *poof* cut to the manifold out. Apparently, the hours of cursing and sweat, perhaps even a stab of blood spattered here and there, are not worth the mention. LOL

Glad i could help..you'll definitely notice an improvement in fuel consumption and general response of the engine once you've cleaned off the carbon deposit
