This is absolutely gorgeous. Your family is beautiful and you've captured that in a way I haven't seen yet with the Blazars. Maybe it's your coloring skills, maybe it's the Burano, probably both. The image is so appealing and inviting it feels like you are there. A lovely combo of anamorphic style and high level image capture. Blown away. I can't wait until mine arrive.

You deserve a like sir. This looks like a real pain in the ass…. Could I use a Kowa instead of a Schneider? And I’m not noticing much of any flaring at all btw. But that swirly distortion looks really cool

Most vintage lenses like the Helios allow you to focus slightly beyond infinity to accommodate for inconsistencies in cameras' flange distance. So when you get the sharpest image, you *are* focusing it to infinity, just that the maximum throw of the lens isn't infinity.

Your videos make me emotional. Every time. Also…I’m really enjoying the Burano. Every time you’ve brought it on a project, the image looks unbelievable. The Blazars on this really surprised me in a good way. I love the way they retain detail but aesthetically smear some of the image.

Started this around 2011 with a Moller32 and canon 50mm f1.8 plastic lens and used close up filters for close up shots... There was few vids around back then and no single focus sollution! I now have 5 projector Anamorphics and last year grabbed a used range finder. I used Anamorphics on the Panasonic gh4 that has anamorphic options and a 4x3 mode, the gh5 has a open gate/full sensor mode too

Thanks for an excellent, simple camera test that shows the camera's good side well-lovely colours, beautiful highlights, and details in the low-light scene. The fast focus tracking looks great. I've tested it with the Cooke Panchros, Orion Mercuries, and CineAlta Mk11s, and it looks great in all those setups, so I'm seriously considering making the purchase as well. It looks like your offspring might be in the camera department one day as well.
