Tom Merritt

Hey everybody, I'm Tom Merritt, host of Daily Tech News Show (dailytechnewsshow.com). I'm using this KZread channel to try out some stuff and keep in touch with folks who follow my shows. Grab a coffee, beer or whatever, sit back and enjoy. Unless you use a standing desk. Then stand back? That sounds like a warning. Just enjoy. Don't let me tell you how.

    I’ve listened to your podcast with Gail Carriger & now Eleanor Janega (two of my favorite people), & I think I’ll just have to listen to more of your talks. Also love your Kpop shout outs.

    Too bad Jaime Ruiz-Avila is a fraud, scam and previously convicted con artist. In fact, he was arrestedd IN 2014 and is also wanted in several countries by police. He stole money on the Kickstarters while living in Austin on an immigration visa.

    Some people will see a New York Times on the newsstand in 1977 that says Elvis is dead and believe it and some people will see a National Enquirer that says he's alive in 2022 and believe it. I agree you can help some people, but not everyone.

    It always amazes me how often short hand like "2 quarters of negative growth" and rhymes like "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" are used as gotchas. Like, what if I need to measure something more than twice or cut it more than once? Some bolts are lefty tighty, righty loosy. I hate to be the "actually" guy, but sometimes I'm the "actually" guy.

    Interesting. I haven't thought about people trusting sites like that, but it rings true. I've seen multiple content creators do just this and it didn't cross my mind. I'm glad I listened. Also It's sad that content creators are starting to move away from sighting their sources in the description in fear that it would be used against them here on KZread. I would typically check the sources in an attempt to avoid being in an echo chamber, but it's getting harder to do because asking for sources can come off as bad faith since it's a popular tactic in the "debate bro" space

    I was rather hoping that aside from - or in addition to - the description of what it does, and why you are using it, you might have shared some idea of specs (distortion, wattage) and/or if it sounds any good. The Sonos speakers you point out are "lovely", but that is incidental (unless one had instead selected a Sonos review). Not a word about the quality of the amp. Even when you played the setup you had it on at such a low volume (compared even to your own voice in the same room) and for so few seconds, that it was meaningless beyond serving as proof of concept that it makes a sound.

    So If you really need a professional hacker to hack your cheating boyfriend's/girlfriend's/spouse phone, whatsapp, facebook, bank account hack etc. Or credit score upgrade, I would recommend [email protected] He has proven to be trustworthy, His jobs are fast and affordable. He has carried out over 3 job for me including helping me hack my ex wife's mobile phone and i can't forget when he cleared my credit card debts and improved my credit score to 750. I can put my money on him at anytime!. He's one of the best out there. Spreading the word as my little favor to him for all he's done. Thank you straight hacker

    Han shot 1st & it matters! Simply because it doesnt add anything if he shoots second. It only strengthens the character if he shoots 1st like a rogue. Its better with than without therefore... it matters enough

  • @3dduff
    @3dduff4 жыл бұрын

    It matters. Han is a badass that does things his way. My interpretation is He KNEW Jaba would probably kill him, he KNEW the bounty was "Dead or alive" He knew that Greeto has him. Han had no way out. Killing a bounty hunter in Mos Eisley is probably like getting a speeding ticket. Han makes decisive actions and doesn't let people get in his way. THAT is called Character building. BUT 30 years later the PC police react to murder very differently then they did back when this movie was made. The intention was TO SHOW he is not one to mess with. And making him shoot second undermines the character and the directors ORIGINAL INTENT.
