I wonder how much horsepower has to be generated to make a 40 ton humpback whale lift itself completely out of the water?

imagine a world that was completely uninterrupted for humans and nature alike, i pray the seas and lands are left alone so that the beautiful inhabitants of it thrive and enjoy their environments.

This is mot one continuous video of a lot of whales breeching. It has been stitched together of several videos to show the whales.

That was awesome! the slow-motion was quick but Worth it. I think they feel people's energy and like engaging with humans sometimes. Maybe showing off for them too. That stubby big whale jump made me giggle. I would love to be able to swim safely with these guys and not get into trouble for it. I used to want to swim with great whites too but times have changed and the sea/oceans are getting scary. I won't even get on a boat anymore. 😂

They breathe air, just like we do because they are mammals, just like humans! Fish breathe water. That includes sharks. But whales, dolphins & porpoises are all breathing mammals. They must surface periodically in order to breathe. How often depends on the species. Humpbacks must surface every 10 mins or so, unless they are very relaxed or sleeping. Blue whales can often stay under water for up to 90 minutes! They are also the largest whale on planet Earth! 💙

After seeing this I find it funny how movies that have a Kraken in them depict it a lot like a school of humpback whales swimming together.
