If you don't know or have played any other remakes it's ok, cause I don't know many too, but I sure think there are better remakes then these, like the Kirby Return to Dreamland Remake, or the Link's Awakening, I think it's called???

  Oh yeah the last one is my mistake, I probably should've thrown the word reboot in there. Wikipedia calls DKCR a port, doesn't really matter much though. And I consider DKCR 3D a 3D remake of the Wii game 🤷‍♂️

  My brother gifted me a used WiiU maybe 1-2 years ago, and for that time it had 2 games that were kinda not good. Eventually i got some wiiu games and wii games aswell, and when i started to play it i would say its not a bad console and ive wanted one when it came out. I personally think its a great console with a nice set of games for it, and for it also being able to emulate ds games BEFORE it was innactive to download ds games, is pretty cool since its kinda like a bigger ds

  The 3 things I hate from NSMBW are: motion controls (they can be EXTREMELY sensitive and ive died many times thanks to that), the fact that you have to replay the world from the start if you die before the first castle (with 5 goddamn lives!) and how oddly hard the game is (sure, it may be a skill issue)

  ​@@rockman08 I rolled my eyes as well, but in his defense it's pretty hard for a console to really be "underrated" now. Everyone loves the GameCube, Vita, and Dreamcast now even if they weren't financially successful at the time of release. Really, TurboGrafx 16 is the only console that feels legitimately underrated as it doesn't get near the current praise or rereleases as the other consoles. It wouldn't feel right calling the Atari Jaguar or 3DO underrated.

  @@user-in8qh3zf9d Simple: Play on literally anything other than an original DS. You'll still have 8 directional movement but other games such as Galaxy, 3D Land and 3D World all have it as well, and those games are beloved by pretty much everyone

  Nice call out on the consoles. I really hate the propaganda, mostly from the new Nintendo team, calling the Wii-U a failure. It was only a marketing failure. I have tested & proven that the games put out for the Wii-U, and later move to the switch, actually plays better on the Wii-U and has better looking graphics than on the Switch. The fact is after their presidents death, the NX console was scrapped, the switch was made and Nintendo spent millions in fees to make sure no backwards compatibility would be available from the Switch forward. So they had a very good for promoting the death and “failure” of previous Nintendo game systems.

  thanks for watching! I agree that the Wii U is actually a solid console, the marketing was just horrendous. But honestly I didnt realise how good of a system it was until researching for this video, so hopefully spreading the info here will help some other people notice that it really wasn't all bad.

  It's an interesting tactic because with the Switch, Nintendo didn't want it to be seen as a successor to 3ds, but they DID want it to be seen as successor to Wii U. I suppose that by Nintendo's standards, it was better for them to market the Switch as being way better than the Wii U, while keeping the 3Ds audience alive just in case Switch flopped and they needed to fall back on 3ds. After all, the DS systems with sales combined were easily their most successful consoles of all time, so it's a big risk to move away from them. They were a lot more wishy washy back when moving from Wii to Wii U, completely failing to sell the Wii U as its own thing. They were too self conscious about the console from the start, following massive success of the Wii. And it appealed to nobody, with its second screen gimmick being way too niche for its purposes, somewhat worse than a wiimote, and making the console expensive. The failure to use the wii u tablet is what killed the system. My prediction is history will repeat itself and Nintendo will be self-conscious about introducing the Switch successor, not wanting to trample on Switch sales, and this will lead the Switch 2 to do badly. They might aim for some new dumb gimmick and fail to land on an audience that is surrounded by vastly more impressive technology than Nintendo can affordably offer.

  @@tipsy634 thanks for the comment, I can absolutely see the Switch 2 going the way of the Wii U, unless nintendo goes all out and makes a completely new system instead of a switch 2, which is why their previous systems have done so well, the Wii and Switch were completely new ideas and that's why they sold so well. Unless the Switch 2 brings something huge to the table I'd be worried personally. Backwards compatibility with the Switch would sell it enough for me personally though.

  Infinite is actually very hated in the community. His main thing is his design and the edgy tone in his theme. People were looking forward to this character in the trailers, but his character was done so bad, they want to forget this guy exists He has many issues: 1) His power is shown to be very strong at the start, but when he is the semi-final boss, he's weak as hell (lost to base Sonic with an assistance of avatar) 2) His origin story is that Shadow called him weak......... yeah, that's kinda it 3) He's using the power of the phantom ruby to just bring back Sonic's old foes, and you don't even fight some of them 4) When he's defeated, you expect something big, something dramatic, but the way he goes down is him running away Lemme repeat HE RUNS AWAY 5) HE'S NOT EVEN THE FINAL BOSS

  This is probably weird but is it weird that I played Sonic Unleashed on the Wii first before I ever played the PS3 version don't laugh at me for this that happened to me when I was a kid cuz at the time I never had a PS3 I had to borrow my friends just to play that version cuz I saw it online but is it weird that I played the Wii version and most people hated that version play Don't Judge Me I've always wondered cuz I did play the PS3 version but it was like I first played the wii version in which felt weird but what do you guys think is that a weird thing

  Ive been reading the IDW run and honestly, the highlight of that comic is the character banter, characterizations, and art. Its not something thematically deep like IDW Transformers Lost Light with super extensive world building. But they're fun romps and its cool watching Sonic and his friends joke around while fighting. I think theyre good if youre just wanting some careless fun.
