I think, Ian Astbury is one of the most sincere and introspective artists/musician that I know. I really love that about him!

Mötley Crüe and The Cult had a thing very much in common. Both released a self titled album in the 90's which are possibly the worst in their discography while their fans just wanted more of what had made them great. Moral of the story: Fcuk the fads of the times.

I miss my friend Matt Garrett seen here playing bass , he was a great guy , great sense of humor , and a great musician , he had a healthy ego ...no ' Rock -Star ' bullshit .Sadly he O.D.ed some years back after moving back to L.A. from Taos N.M. where I worked with him and were roommates for a while , I knew I would never see him again...boo-hoo !...true friends are rare these days because so many people are narcissistic morons obsessed with their sexuality or ' gender '....R.I.P. Matt !!

Perhaps Ian could write a book about Rock music! He knows a damn sight more than the hack music journalists who labelled the Cult 'goth'! Southern Death Cult were PUNK! Post punk perhaps but never ever 'goth'! The Mission were goth.
