I really prefer the shorter videos as great for watching with a lovely cup of coffee right when I need a break from whatever I’m in the middle of and find them so relaxing. Love the colour combinations and yarns you have chosen for the next shawl pattern and look forward to seeing how it works out. Also your necklace is stunning!! Would be nice to see it in a video of you wearing it with a low neckline vintage dress or blouse👗🩷
I do enjoy shorter podcasts. When they get longer than an hout I am tempted to unsubscribe. Excrptions sre Fruity knitting and bakery bears. I usually listen yo podcasts ehile eating lunch and up to an hour is perfect.
Thanks so much for this review of favorite summer yarn. I appreciate all your suggestions.
Lovely beaded shawl, I bet your mom will wear it with much pride, bragging about her daughter's knitting and beading ... I would anyways. Have you ever considered knitting the "Wild Swan" shawl by Anne-Lise Maigaard & Nim Teasdale, it is a free pattern and there is was great support for this on Ravelry because it was an MKAL from 1 January to 15 February in 2019. Gorgeous pattern !!!
Thank you for the kind comment! The "Wild Swan" has been in my Ravelry library forever, but I've never been brave enough to tackle it. But I did get a skein of yarn recently that would be perfect for it.... maybe I can muster up the courage :)
Excellent ❤ Beautiful ❤️ Thank you 😊
What a lovely and peaceful video! ❤
I loved your intro with the reflection on perfection. Your straw hat is so stylish. The "To the Heart of the Mountain Shawl" by Anna Victoria looks great in your choice of yarn/color. I love the sound beads make when you put the shawl on the table ... GReat work !!! Your friend is so lucky you knit her a great shawl too. Congratulations on not adding to your yarn stash!
Beautiful shawl 💕
Thank you for sharing! 🧶😊👍
I always appreciate your delicate style. Thanks for this episode !
Your video content is always so beautiful! As is your shawl! It would be great if you made a first lace shawl knitting video. And greatly appreciated🙂 Your writing paper is beautiful! And your kit kats look so loved❤💞
Such a beautiful shawl! Love your choices of patterns and colours of yarns. Your videos are so inspiring ❤
I love your podcast, I like your choice of colors and the beauty of your knits, woven objects as well. Thanks for the inspiration !
I love the orange & yellow on the fingerless glove!!!
Quite a lot of finishing to do. I had plans for Finish it February this year since I do have a few knits that got put to the side as Christmas knitting took over. one mid-season short sleeves sweater, the Vanilla Affogato by Thea Colman, one undergarnment lingering since July 2022, the Summer Secret Crop by Jessie Maed Designs and I might choose to re-knit the sleeves of a sweater I do not wear because I find the sleeves too tight from the elbows down my Super Simple Summer Sweater by Joji Locatelli. Not the pattern fault, mine because I had decided to decrease more than suggested by the pattern. Lesson learned, gesigners know best !!! But we are a few days into February already, and I have a gift knit on my neddles for now and a few urgent projects before knitting on my lingering wips. It might become finish it March ...

Ranunculus now comes in various sizes. Loved your update.
Enjoyed your Podcast, to see your shawls, they are great. Even to hear your experiences with your knitting. Thanks. Best wishes, kindley
So lovely to see all your 2023 projects together. Bravo ! The Ranunculus sweater has benn updated, with more sizes and even clearer instructions. My favorite project last year was my Fairy Bouquet Sweater by Joanna Ang in Fleece & Harmony Point Prim sock yarn held double with kid silk mohair.
Hi! Do you have an instagram or Ravelry page? I'd love to learn more about the sweater you're wearing here.
Hi :) I have an Instagram, it's @downtheforestpath - the sweater I'm wearing here is the Magnolia Bloom by Camilla Vad, knit in Drops Lima held double with mohair - I talk about the knitting process more in my "can I knit a sweater in 24 hours" video if you're curious!
quite enjoyable, yes, your weaving is intriguing and many of us enjoy another hobby. Kudos on the kittens
Heading to Scotland May-July 2024 and making my must visit yarn shops. Obviously I will be needing an extra suitcase <3 That pebble is magical <3
How beautiful!!
I'm glad you are feeling better! Covid is definitely a hardship. Your shawl is so gorgeous!! And your bow and head band are very cool. Thanks for spending your time with us. Your intro was beautiful!
Sorry to hear about COVID catching you, I wish you and your partner get completely better soon. Yes I would be interested in your headband pattern, I often wear headbands. It would be perfect to match them with my knits, great way to re-use swatch yarns. I love how you repurposed the hat into a picture fame, very clever.
Hi Nicola, thanks for your lovely video! It’s Jess’s Mum here! I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to seeing all your wonderful projects. Sending best wishes from the UK ! Xx❤

Your Kuutar tee is beautiful!
So nice to see you and all of your lovely projects! I really enjoyed seeing your lino prints 😊
Nice to see you back, I celebrate your creativity and your sense of esthetic. Thanks for sharing your love of fall in the filming of this video.
Thank you, Nicole, nice to see you back, too, always appreciate your comments!
I loved watching this episode! The atmosphere you create is very soothing and inspired me to put more effort in creating a cozy autumn vibe at home (and generally be more present and slow down). I will definitely knit this little pumpkin! Loved all of the projects and I look forward to see the christmas things you will knit. You are amazing (:
I love knitting in the places I visit, and having some 'souvenir" yarn that I can use to create a project that holds the memories.
Your kittens are so cute!
The island of Skye was beautiful! I can only imagine how magical it was there. Thank you for sharing it with us! And your woven scarf made with your special yarn is gorgeous❤
A lovely podcast.I really enjoyed seeing all your projects & the gorgeous yarn you bought on Skye. I live in Scotland so was nice to see how much you loved Scotland. Thank you 🏴
💕😀xx thanks for a really interesting podcast. I’m glad you’re a drops yarn fan. Me too. I do occasionally splash on something precious to treat myself but I have a limited budget. I found your weaving interesting too. 🥰the kittens are so sweet🐈⬛
Your knitting is exquisite and your calm voice and thoughtful presence make it such a pleasure to watch your episodes.
Your podcasts are just the perfect mix of yarn, wips finished objects, beautiful landscape and now even two cute fur babies. Thank you so much, please keep going!
I love to hear you talk about all your crafts, weaving knitting, and more. Thanks for your beautiful sensitivity. Yes, I'd like to see all your Ranunculus sweaters, I have knitted 10 of them' many I've gifted, it still is my favorite pattern. All your acquisitions are wonderful, looking forward to see what you will make with them. The kittens are so cute !
Thank you for your kind comments, I really appreciate them :)
Beautiful sweater! Well done!!!
Absolutely love those colours and your jumper. Could you let me know what the pattern is please? Thank you for a very interesting podcast
Thank you for the lovely comment! The pattern is the Sommer Ella Solo pattern by Lene Holme Samsoe (with me improvising the sleeves, but she also has a version of the sweater with sleeves for sale, just called "Ella")
Thank you so much x
Where did you buy the Alice starmore yarn?
I bought it directly from her website, virtual yarns.
Hello and what a great video. Love Scotland too. I am British by north but live in Melbourne Australia. See you again.
I just discovered your podcast and really loved hearing about your journey to Scotland and all the yarn acquisitions. Scotland is definitely one of the most magical places. I tend go there once a year and do some long distance hiking. Can´t wait for your next podcast and your tales from the Isle of Skye 😊
I am knitting with Alice Starmore’s Pebble beach, it is amazing.
Ha, I am also Nicola and am about to try knitting the Astreaus pattern. Hope it goes as well as yours!
Hi Nicola :)! Good luck for your Astraeus, I loved knitting this pattern!
I had the same experience with the customs in Germany where I live. The parcel got to the customs and was sent back, without me beeing informed that it was there. It is outragious! I do not understand what is going on there. I feel with you . Huggs from the Schurwald.
Good to know I'm not the only one - it's so frustrating when you're waiting for something only to get a confused message from the vendor saying the parcel arrived back at their doorstep!

Love Starmore yarns! Thanks for the share!
Lovely podcast. I live in Scotland & was so pleased you loved your visit. Great to see all the Alice Starmore yarns & the shop in Fort William. Thank you 🏴
Thank you! I know I'll be back, we felt really welcome and loved the landscape and the people!
I’ve wanted to visit Scotland for years❤. Thank you for sharing such beautiful views and majestic landscapes! Reading your book while visiting the area sounds very interesting. The author would greatly appreciate your review of her book. Your top looks fabulous.
Thank you so much!
