Copenhagen Atomics

Copenhagen Atomics

Copenhagen Atomics pioneers thorium molten salt reactors, a groundbreaking solution that burns nuclear waste to generate abundant and cost-effective green energy. These compact and modular reactors, designed to fit the same area of a standard 40-foot shipping container, ensure scalability and easy deployment worldwide.

With a relentless focus on product development, Copenhagen Atomics has achieved groundbreaking milestones, including the creation of the world's first commercially available molten salt test loops and highly purified salts, catering to the needs of companies, universities, and national labs globally.

Our key milestone is to have our first reactor online by 2025.

Old story!!! I am done with the click baiting on a reality that just will never happen. This "IDEA" is now as credible as climate change. A golf ball for $100 dollars that will power everything everywhere..... Yawn...... Stop talking to raise money and deliver! maybe "where's the beef" is more clear to you? 70+ years and nothing. For all it's down falls Uranium delivered you have not.

In the U.S., we have enough depleted uranium already stockpiled to fully power the country for over 500 years. To be clear, this is the non-fissile U-238 that was a byproduct of uranium enrichment. Like thorium, depleted uranium would require new 4th gen breeder reactors to work, but unlike thorium, we wouldn't need to mine anything. It's already just sitting in a stockpile in Indiana. They currently don't know what to do with it, so the military is using it instead of lead for artillery and tank armor. Note that depleted uranium is not radioactive. Studies have shown it's less toxic than lead.

I have said for years Thorium should have been used and Uranium should not, the govt wants Uranium for their missiles etc so they dont want to use Thorium

The reason Thorium is not used as fuel for reactors is greed and the biproduct can't easily be used in weapons uranium has a high energy yield and unfortunately a high waste yield due to the same greed but they can still sell leftovers for weapons we could run the current waste at half capacity to draw double the amount of output but we don't have enough reactors and profit wouldn't impress shareholders. Tesla was onto the real solution to low cost energy until jp morgan shut him down.

No, the second molten salt reactor was supposed to be with thorium. But they did create the molten salt reactor experiment, just using uranium.

You know this will never get off the ground becuase energy companies won't make money. Instead youve just given away your IP and made aware to all the energy companies your about to make them all loose money. How do you think they will respond ? You were better off to just do what you want privately and to have never told anyone. I'll bet this never sees the light of day past a nicely perceived TED talk video. Oh wait, there one application, you might get snapped up for space craft power systems but that's it, it will never benefit the consumer market, us consumers are meant to consume and give away our life's earning to capitalism.

Energy chart: clearly somebody can't get that we need to reduce population in case we want to survive. Clean energy is a cool thing but we start to suffer now, imagine what gonna happen if rest of the world catch up with plastic and energy use, needing devices for everyone, Apple want them replaced every few months for our safety and as control group we take people who descended on this conference yes? rofl

A tested and proven technology without any exotic technology or minerals is Dr Holcomb's ILPG (in line power generator) that produces 200% - 500% over unity. It is patented but the company is under attack by naked shorting (like they did with gamestop). This is world changing technology with working units tested by many engineers from various companies. kzread.info/dash/bejne/l42Vr9aYcsitZ8o.html

A couple of things mentioned in the video that are really not valid points. 1. Nuclear Accidents and deaths It was stated that deaths are due to the evacuations themselves or failure to administer stable iodine tablets. That's like saying if I shoot you with a gun the real reason you died is because you were not wearing a flack jacket, the gun didn't harm you, it was the bullet you should have protected yourself from. Had the nuclear plants never been constructed no evacuation or administering of tablets would be necessary. Clearly if Chernobyl or Fukushima were wind and solar farms instead, then a disaster that would wipe them out (say a tornado or earthquake) would not require the evacuation around the wind or solar farm for hundreds of kilometers, nor would there be danger to the population close to those plants. Regardless I agree the total number of deaths from nuclear accidents is very small compared to other energy generation methods like coal or biomass. Blaming the accident remediation as the cause of deaths makes your argument less credible and puts a question mark on the Thorium technology. Collatereral damage is a direct result of operating the plants in the first place. 2. No humans in the Thorium plant for up to 50 years. I get that there are autonomous cranes and equipment so no human operators. However humans will need to enter the plant to maintain the autonomous systems. Cranes will not operate for 50 years without the need to perform either preventive maintenance (lubrication/cleaning/pest control) or repairs such as replacing burned out motors etc. The idea that humans would not need to enter the plant for the entire life of the plant is fantasy. At the very least there would need to be regular inspections. Minimizing human interaction is a good strategy, I get why that is good, but please don't overstate the case. It makes the technology less credible when you exaggerate like this.

I have a question. Does this means that you managed to eliminate the need of a driver fissile component to generate the chain reaction required to have U-233? You say you can use PU-239 as igniter, but not that it's required(as it used to be) to initiate and maintain the nuclear chain reaction. Thanks in advance.

So instead of making big ones, make small one that say can power a car or a home and on so on in order that the energy companies are eliminated. Much greater over return than catering to the bandits. Tha would also free up enormous sums of money after they're all up and running. Plenty of free energy devices (50,000+) already patented which forbidden production. See they only like the ones that are detrimental because you're talking about satan and it's minions running the show. Stand with God and tell them to f off, there's not a damn thing they can do.
