Practical topic. Extreme Debt IS slavery and As life ruining as addictions can be and sometimes leads to addictions. At the very least causes excessive stress and an inability for a person to receive the joy of giving. Good topic would be how do two people in a marriage with different philosophies on saving and being debt free or not, solve the debt problem. Often one partner is a spender and one is not. Common marriage problem. Thank you for dealing with hard topics.

Good sermon . I have been one who waited a long time for some changes to my preferences in certain areas, but I ask my self, what if things take another twist and I don’t like it. Will I again be willing to support things I might not be comfortable with? I hope so. Other topics in this sermon are worthy of discussion.

Remain, remain, remain. That’s it. A tall enough order with life’s many problems and distractions. Intentionality to remain is it. We need to pray for each other to focus, to remain.

Some interesting points about Thomas. I have always felt he got a bad rep for doubting as I knew I would have done the same thing. Most would. It was crucial for Thomas to see for himself just as the others did, in order to dispel any doubt that this seemingly impossible thing did really happen never have to question that Jesus did rise from the dead and was the Messiah. Love your prayers Jason.

Love you looked at scripture in context. Loved that you prayed for other churches - so good. Not holding people outside the church to family rules - right on. In the church, showing love and respect for others is how it should be. The old song “Walk a mile in my shoes” comes to mind. Liked Pastor Jason’s story of the man he worked with and how the Holy Spirit checked his temptation to straighten him out by words. I like to add that Praying God, Holy Spirit , enlighten a person whom we think is going astray, especially in the church family , would be far more valuable than anything we can say to straighten a person out. We need to be sure God is directing if we ever feel the need to actually speak and correct someone. And as Pastor pointed out, take the log from our own eye first. Great service this morning. Lots to think about.
