I have a different question. You were able to film that without ALL your chickens swarming you. How. They free range, but I give them a little fermented feed twice a day. They swarm me when I go outside and it's horrible. Should I not feed them?

Make it into a mash just like in this video and then you can put it in a spray dispenser like you would get from Home Depot

I highly recommend this link for truly understanding your roosters and preventing and ending any aggression. Problem is if we dominate our roosters often the successful results are only short term. The roosters nature is to always be the alpha so it’s only a matter of time before they challenge head rooster (you)…..as roosters do in nature. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZoiE1cptZKSvkc4.htmlsi=jkLyAdtkM4q3eexd.

Mean Roo? Really? If it had been Yondu, my Brown Leghorn, you'd both be bleeding in the first 30 seconds of being in his zone! I haven't lost any of HIS girls to a predator since he's been in charge. It's a total love/hate relationship between me and him. I LOVE how protective he is and he HATES my guts!

My neighbor does this for a living he uses thick wall PVC pipe to roll them on If they're too heavy you can use your vehicle to push or pull while you replace the pipe as the building moves

Years later and I still laugh when the rooster chases her all the way across the yard in the beginning. That was my husband years ago 😅 Glad she faced her fears

I make no attempts to dominate my boys, don't interfere in their rooster business. Also never show them any fear. Bad mistake. Earn their trust and give them treats first before anyone else and they'll love you for it. I tried that pinning move once a while back with a boy that was giving me trouble. Made his girls mad and they jumped on me. lol Young boys are always buttholes going through the change, dealing with the girls, the dominance thing and all that. They will test you daily. Don't back away and kill em with kindness. It works.

I personally don't want to touch the poopy feathers with my bare hands so I bought some gloves like the ones doctors use. I use them for the chickens and things like cleaning the bathroom because I don't want my nail polish coming off either

Just wanted to say thanks. My shed was 10x16 and used 2 in pvc as rollers over 2x6 on crushed stone. Tried 3/4 metal but wouldn’t budge. Never would have attempted without this inspiration. Thanks again.

I had an aggressive rooster. I employed the French method, which has 100% success rate. It’s called coq au vin.
