I use a mixture of half retarded and half either flow aid or distilled water and squirt a tiny bit into the pot once done and you usually scrounge up a few more ML of paint, and in the same process pre mixed that batch with retarder~ I paint slow, and without retarder even with wet pallet I'm always fighting drying paint. I also hate wasting a single drop when transferring so rather have it a little more diluted if it means salvaging more of it.

How easy is it to clean the syringe and tip, please? buying a big pack of either is going to be really expensive for me in the UK. I can get a pack for x 2 for a few pounds. if I can easily rinse them out I'd much prefer this as it's getting really expensive to transfer over my paints. I have around 100 I need to transfer.

@@soundgarden8885 so it really helps if you pull air into the syringe first, roughly the same amount as you want paint in the syringe... once filled with air, stick the tip down into the paint and push the air out into the paint.. due to physics, the pressure will cause a suction effect and the syringe will fill itself up some magically, then pull the rest out... but make sure you don’t spray paint out all over when you push the air in!
