    Great video I have the same issue, replaced temperature sensor, but fans don't come on only when ac on. Any idea

    Thanks for appreciating the video. I'm not a mechanic so I can't give much more help. But, I was looking on KZread and there are a bunch of guys with videos troubleshooting the Civic fan issues. Did you use a genuine Honda sensor? If not, maybe the sensor isn't working, even if it is new out of the box. I had this same issue about two years ago. The mechanic put in an aftermarket sensor. It just lasted two years. Before I had time to replace this sensor, I asked my daughter to just turn on the AC if the car started overheating. Because, same as yours, the fans came on with the AC. Not the best solution, but for a temporary fix, it kept the temperature normal. Good luck. Please let me know if you find a solution. Hope you have a blessed day.

    I thought this was standard practice. I came up with this when I was a small child. Anyone that uses much tape would quickly realize it's the easiest, fastest, cheapest solution to a time wasting and frustrating problem that can occur hundreds of times a day as you tape things.

    Just went through this tunnel when it was raining the other day and had a major panic attack once inside with the 18 wheelers driving so close to me. I was sleep deprived and it took a terrible effect on my ability to react. I felt like i was losing all control of my extremities. Worse feeling ever.

    Hey Paul did you have to replace the window motor. My gals Caravan switch just went out so I got a new one coming. She was also lucky that the window was up, with hers it was also the driver side button. Do you happen to know what size socket for the 3 screws. Thanks for posting brother, take care

  • @bestgirlsdad
    @bestgirlsdad2 ай бұрын

    Yes, I had to replace the window motor. I didn't do it myself, but my mechanic friends did it. They also recommended that we use the new switch, even though the old one worked. You could see on the old one that the circuit board on the back was burnt a bit. Good that your gals window was up. Mine was too. I do not remember the socket size for the screws. Hopefully, your motor isn't bad and the switch is the problem. Good luck. Hope that you have a blessed day. Thanks.

    Apparently the termination of the type-B vent is showing it is upside down. Looking from the inside where the water heater and furnace transitioned to a larger diameter B vent whoever installed it they put the male side down. If you look closely at the chimney you can see the inside aluminum and the outer galvanized thus water was entering between the aluminum and outer galvanized pipe. This would be the only way water would be getting in between the aluminum and galvanized pipe. Otherwise water would have been only on the outer portion of the B vent.

    Furthermore CO is entering your attic area. If one looks up symptoms of CO they will see it causes headaches, weakness, nausea and other symptoms. Not to alarm you all but it has to be said. Google this and you’ll see exactly what I mean: “type B vent installed upside down”

    If you see the bulb lighting and flashing fast, that means that bulb is fine and your rear bulb is burned out. They share a circuit and flasher mechanism which operates based on the load it sees. If your flashers are fast, find the one - rear or front - that ISN’T flashing at all. That’s the bulb that needs changing. Once the flasher sees the load of both bulbs the speed will be normal.

  • @bestgirlsdad

    Thanks. I didn't know this. Hope you have a Blessed and Happy New Year.

  • @artysanmobile

    By way of additional explanation, there is a reason the quickly flashing bulb looked weak in the original poster’s description and it is NOT because the bulb was faulty, which it was not. A filament has mass which requires time to heat and as a result reach full brightness. Flashing at approximately double the intended rate results in a flash considerably less than half the design intensity. The depicted bulb was not faulty and would return to normal brightness at the design flashing rate. I know this does not seem to comport with the findings of the original poster, but I stand by this solidly.
