  Those new cabinets and plumbing fixtures and barn door are all standard cheap “flip house” features. I’m almost certain the cabinet shelves will be bending in no time. There’s little to no originality in modernizing a house. You say it’s not to make a quick buck, but it truly is. I can’t stand all these flip houses with crappy renovations that are meant for aesthetics rather than longevity.

  original beauty? no house from that time was that open, common to have alot of walls and doors, and it wasnt plain and white inside, usually a color, darker, and wallpaper and most of the time a house big like that would have some oak trim and molding inside, and why would you put a dang house door for the bathroom? and make it slide? like why would you want a window door there, kind of says "hillbilly engineering" and also those floors are so weird and bright, if you sanded the original ones down then just why?

  Why are her friends your responsibility? I understand they are at your house but life’s full choices, if they are teenagers they can pack themselves something or even bring their saved up money, put it all together and buy food.

  It's not about it being her responsibility or not, those are her daughters friends. She wants to create an environment where teenagers are free from daily life in a sense. Not all teenagers work, or have spare change to get snacks like that, you don't know what their situation is like at home and if they have access to a lot of food And it is kinda impolite as a host to guests, to not at least have something simple to offer or have if requested. She's not making entire meals for them, simply having snacks and drinks by the pool. Which if u are in the pool, it's a hot day and u wanna stay hydrated and fed. She's not doing it because it's her responsibility or because she has to, but as something she wants to do
