Can you share the recipe?
Most of the shots in the video were edited in lightroom, using the Adobe colour profile. But the cherry blossom images are all SOOC all using nostalgic negative by Joe D'agostino
Did you know about this handy lighting tip to help workout lighting when you’re shooting outdoors? Or did you think I was about to flip you the bird 😂 In all seriousness Lighting direction and how shadows are cast can dramatically change the look of an image. So understanding where the lighting is coming from and how the highlights and shadows impact your image is key. A simple and effective way of assessing this is using your fist. Just hold your fist into the sky and turn. If you watch through the video you’ll notice how the highlights and shadows are constantly revolving depending on the relationship of your hand to the sun. So notice when I’m directly facing the sun my fist is coved by shadows. On the other hand (excuse the pun 😝) look at when I have my back to the sun there are very few shadows. Placing the sun somewhere between creates varying levels of highlight and shadow which can be used to create some interesting looks. This simple yet effective tip can drastically improve the shots you’re getting. As without light we would not have photography. So we have to make that light work for us.
Great job my man, i wonder if you takin a pic of a car
Thanks dude means a lot! Not got many of cars yet but something I’m looking to do more of down the line.

So glad I’ve been able to fulfill a life long dream of yours. I can sleep sound at night knowing you now know what a traffic light looks like. 😝🤪 in all seriousness what may seem mundane to you is a world apart for someone else. Appreciate the comment!
@@DigifrogDesigns nah I was only joking bro I've seen a traffic light before. 😜
That’s such a relief! Thought I was responding to Harry Potter for a moment. 🚪

OMG Love your Video. This deserves more views!
Thank you! 😊
Great Format! Great Snaps and respect for the Lowlight Performance. Love this kind of stuff. I live in Germany on the countryside, so no big cities = no wide angle needed for Street/Archtecture(there is none🤣) . My Go is the XS-20 and the 33 mm from Fuji. Receipts are great but can be very specific. I tried some but prefer 2 or 3 custom modes or just fiddling around with the Film Simulations. You cant beat the XS-10/20 when i comes to handling and staying almost invisible with a Camera.
Thanks so much @zerotonine807 for the kind words and showing some Love. Really appreciate the comments on the photos and videos. Great combo with the X-S20 and 33mm you have there up until i got the new Viltrox 56mm used in this video my go to was the 35mm F2. I can sympathise with you there with where you live, is a small town round here with nothing I see as exciting anymore 🤣🤣 but thats whats lead to me making a few of these videos and hopefully continuing moving forward. Sharing this little town to a wider audience cos i have slowly started to realise what is mundane to me is completely new and different for a lot of people. SO thats where the recipe in this video came in. Ive been trying to find different ways to capture the sample places but giving them a purpose. I have to agree for my everyday photography recipes are VERY specific and suit certain conditions. But its been exciting choosing something/ goal for the photowalk. For me i lets me try things a little different and make going out in to this small town capturing moments a little exciting again. They are both great combos for being almost invisible but you still get the odd funny look doing it in a place where people arn't used to seeing it hahaha 🤣🤣 Anyway I apologise for the long reply but again cant thank you enough for showing some support :D
digital?? the film version is not very good
Yeah these are all digital, shot on the Fuji X-S10 using the straight out of camera recipe “Pushed Cinestill 800T” so these are all the JPGS right out of camera. I’ve not tried the film version but definitely would like to give it a shot even if it’s not that good! Deffo has a specific look.
@@DigifrogDesigns I like your work. I tried the film but did not like the outcome. I do like the BW cine still variable ISO thou.
Thank you so much for the kind words, oooo I’ve not heard of that version of the film. Will definitely have a look into it. Really appreciate the comment and support 😊
@@DigifrogDesigns keep it up
@@DigifrogDesigns where is this little town?
One from the cutting room floor of my latest KZread video testing out the Pushed Cinestill 800T recipe from @fujixweekly This is deffo a strong look and not an everyday kinda recipe but it gives those overcast, blue hour, mood days a bit of a vibe / edge. Deffo worth giving it a try. Here’s the Fuji Recipe breakdown “Pushed CineStill 800T“ Eterna Bleach Bypass Dynamic Range: DR400 Highlight: -0.5 Shadow: -1.5 Color: +3 Noise Reduction: -4 Sharpness: 0 Clarity: -3 Grain Effect: Strong, Large Color Chrome Effect: Strong Color Chrome Effect Blue: Strong White Balance: 7700K, -9 Red & +5 Blue ISO: Auto, up to ISO 6400 Shot on Fuji X-S10 @Viltrox 56mm f1.7 Images SOOC Follow @digisnapsss on Instagram for more SAVE THIS POST for your your next photo walk to try out the recipie 📸🚶
Very specific recipe that doesn't work in many situations. It does work very good for conditions in your video though - blue hour, moody, overcast. Great photos!
Thank you so much for the kind words and stopping by my video. I would have to agree with you on it being a very specific recipie that may not be suitable for most situation. I have to admit when I got back from this walk I was a little bummed out looking through the images with it being such a strong look and a lot different than how i would normally edit. And i think that put me off them initially. So I sat on them for a few weeks and after going back to them I was able to look at them a little more subjectively and totally agree they give blue hour, moody, overcast conditions a bit of a vibe. One thing i definitely liked about trying this recipe was it forced me to look for different compositions than I normally would. But again thank you so much for stopping by and supporting. :D
Yess i love itt! I love this photography style, im just too scared to take photos of people incase they see me and get mad even tho you cant see their faces
Thank you for your kind words. Documenting the world as you see it around you is a wonderful thing. It does happen but very very very rarely, the best thing you can do is be polite and respectful if a situation like that does arise. Explain what it is you’re doing and why you’re taking the photo and if they’re really not happy just delete the image and move on 😊 it’s probably also worth mentioning just check the laws where ever you live.
@@DigifrogDesignsphotography is an amazing thing for sure! It has always been something ive loved. Thank you for the advice! It is very very helpful 😊
If it’s something you love deffo encourage you to get out and shoot more. I set myself a goal this year to get out and shoot more and set a few projects up on Instagram one sharing a photo a day until the end of this year and the other sharing and documenting my small town with the world. It’s insane how much I’ve grown and learn in such a short space of time. So definitely encourage you to get out with whatever camera you got and just enjoy creating and enjoy the process. 📸
This video was so relaxing to watch! Loved the change in atmosphere when it got darker, shows an awesome range of images 👏🏻👏🏻❤️
Thank you so much! Glad you think so I tried to choose a mood to suit the atmosphere so glad that came across in the video 🔥🔥🔥
What do you think? Do they look like pushed Cinestill 800T? What other recipes do you think I should try?
A approach in harsh sunlight would be interesting. I tried Nostalgic Neg. in Greece recently in a small town, had a great look in my opinion - a bit of Vintage but not that saturated.
FUJIFILM XRAW STUDIO is a powerful tool if you use JPEG film recipes. But sometimes when you head out into the filed the simulation you picked doesn’t hit the way you want it to. Or you come across your favourite recipe on the likes of @fujixweekly and you want to try it on one of your images. This is where X RAW STUDIO had got your back! So long as you have a FUJI RAW file and it has to be fuji you can try out these simulations. The first thing you need to do is, plug in your camera to your computer. Make sure in the setting you’ve set the USB connection mode to “USB RAW CONV. / BACKUP RESTORE” It’s connecting the camera to the computer that allows you add the recipes as that is what is used to do the RAW Conversions. After your camera is plugged in, fire up FUJIFILM XRAW STUDIO and navigate to where you’ve saved your FUJI RAW Files. FUJIFILM XRAW STUDIO will then pull in all the images from that folder and display the settings that were used when that image was taken on the right of the screen. This is where you can add in your favourite setting, experiment or even try out a recipe from your favourite creator. Once you’re happy with the final result click convert and that will save the image back to the same directory it was originally saved in. It’s also worth mentioning for best results use the same model of camera that the image was taken with. As there may be different options on different generations of camera that so you may get different mialage. Give it a go to your own images and tag me! Let me see what results you’ve got or let me know your favourite recipes below for me to try out.
Love this so much! great picture! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you so much for your kind words
Lol how that perfect 😂
Thanks for your comment and with all things It's open for interpretation but to me, it comes from the clothing that the lady is wearing matching the sign above with the black and white theme. So there is almost like a zebra effect at the top starting with the black of the sign through the white text back to the black then following into her outfit. Being illuminated by said sign creating that halo around her.

Sangat indah dan menarik, tapi kau harus membuat videonya agar menjadi lebih menarik lagi dan memperpanjang durasi video. Misal seperti proses pembuatan yang di percepat.
Thanks for your comment, this is just an experiment of delivering edit details in short form content. To show the thought behind its subtractive or additive that you can’t take the theory and apply to your own work. I have another editing video where I cover these style of edits in a little more detail on my channel. But as you’re probably aware every images starting point can be different so exact numbers can often have undesirable effects where as understanding the thought process translates to your own images where you can apply your creative interpretation. I do want to do more editing breakdowns but with shorts being limited to 60 seconds it’s trying to find a way to quickly present the information before someone scrolls past. But thank you for your time to comment and I appreciate your comments. I’m just seeing what content works.
