Asco Car Hire in Namibia supplies you with fully equipped 4×4 vehicle, which is technically adapted to our exciting but often harsh African roads and tracks.
We have special vehicles for the camping enthusiasts, which are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable camping trip in the wild. Unlimited mileage, double fuel tank, water tank so as bull and roll bars are coming standard with our 4×4 vehicles for your own safety.
Although Namibian roads (and southern African roads in general) are well maintained, most of them are gravel (or dirt) roads, often leading through beautiful but remote wildernesses and breathtaking but rugged terrain, only negotiable by 4×4.
Many overseas visitors, while being experienced in driving on tarred roads, are little acquainted with gravel and off-road driving. In order to help you anticipate what lies ahead, we will advise you extensively on how to handle your vehicle on our Namibian roads.

Thank you. Thank you - two more !!
Thanks Arnold
may i ask kindly who makes your uniforms? especially the shirts. can i get the contacts.
This is absolutely NOT the best advice. Especially the part of using tow ball to pull on. Thankfully the presenter uses a snatch strap and not a kinetic one. Kinetic ropes are dangerous as you build up HUGE amounts of energy and the margin for error is VERY VERY SLIM WITH THE AMOUNT OF ENERGY IN kinetic ropes.
What is Low Four Gear?
Low range, or L4 as we often refer to it, allows the car to engage all 4 wheels and enables slow cruising with high power. This is usually used in difficult terrain where high power is essential, such as steep inclines, mud and rocky ground.
Thank you This is such VALUABLE information. I cant believe it has only four comments of appreciation.
