Fun fact: this vote off was suppised to be a one big betreyal, because around a camp Ted was pretty much very liked guy (by everybody but Ghandia).

Just a little context in defense of Michelle. I’ve recently heard a rumor that Michelle allegedly said in a post game interview the reason she didn’t go through with her plan (of faking her disgust to throw off the other tribe into picking her for the tie breaker) was because the drink was way more gross than she was expecting. As a result she felt if she went through with her strategy of faking her disgust that she actually would have puked. This kind of makes sense. because you may remember that when she was trying to talk to Rupert after this challenge, she did actually get sick.

Feel bad for Mogo Mogo, what they did looked pretty solid and definitely would have won against a lot of possible competition, but Chapera just had this from the moment Rafa saw their shelter.

Why they never didn't brought this challange again. It's cheap for production, entertainining for audience and not difficult to understand for the contestants. It would be so much refreshing watching this instead of obstacle courses with puzzles and endurance challanges.

I love this rendition of the "Rites of Passage" theme, with the choir. I wish there was a version with no vocals from the Survivors so you can hear the music better. That being said, I like how for this season they had snippets of interviews from the people voted out along with the footage. My parents thought the whole walking past the torches ritual in the prior seasons were boring (I didn't mind them at all), but it definitely makes it more interesting. I don't know why they didn't do that for Marquesas and Thailand, and a lot of the other seasons.

Thank God Lillian Morris had her revenge against Andrew Savage for voting her out on Day 9. His response to her trepidation of what would have happened if she voted with the Morgan Tribe was patronizing and weak.

The final two of first three seasons each had a younger contestant vs an older contestant. Ethan beating Kim was the first time that the younger contestant won. It was like the opposite of the previous season (Australian Outback), in which Tina beat Colby.

Tbf when i first learnt about Boston Rob i thought he was overrated based on his average placements but even in the seasons where he did poorly (excluding WaW) he actually played really well. In Marquesas he ran his tribe until the swap happened and the same in HvV until Tyson’s dumb move, if not for that he could’ve done really well that season. And all stars is arguably the best non winning game ever
