  I upgraded the Bloodfiend's Arm to +25 and infused it with Lion's Claw (bleed) - my Arcane scaling is C with blood loss build up of 204. How did you get yours to scale at B with 220 blood loss?

  I like how everyone online rolls into the attacks and never gets hit, but oh no let me do it and I get hit with the elbow and half my health bars gone.

  I’ve played and beaten most of the souls games but there isn’t a build “cheese” enough for me to beat this boss . I play strength build for a reason. I’m horrible at dodging. The shield poke build also doesn’t work…unless you’re a KZreadr 😂. I’m level 330 so all my stats are pretty pumped with a focus on str/arcane on NG+3. That being said, I quit .

  The new update screwed this method up completely. He doesn't get knocked down now. I've been at it for a hour now and only got the chance for 1 critical which didn't even actually do anything because in the middle of the animation the cutscene got triggered.

  @jaybeezy My arcane is at 75 and my blood loss still isn't scaling as high as yours only at 70. I can only get 203 while you have 220. how is this happening? I don't have the last 3 talismans that are in the video and I infused with savage lion's claw instead for the follow up attack. I can't imagine that'd be the issue though. I even have my attack power increase with buffs and my blood loss doesn't change. The only thing I could think is maybe the buff from shard of alexander boosting the skill is the difference since the ash of war/skill is being used to infuse the weapon with bleed. That or the latest patch slightly nerfed the amount of bleed this has.

  nvm. I got the the shard now and I'm still at 203 vs your 220. I think it was the latest patch because I notice now your scaling is c, e, and b while mines is c, e, and c.

  After a few attempts of having the exact same build, it looks like they buffed his stagger resistance which makes this a lot less viable. Still one of the best ways to do it but you're not gonna be staggering him after 2 hits anymore.

  Bro, I was on my last attempt for the night and was able to close the deal after a few incredibly close calls in the 2nd round. Great advice, great build combinations. Time to make use out of this until the inevitable nerf. Once again, thank you. You're a real one and have earned my sub/respect.

  Thanks for this. I made some changes though. Dropped Alexander since were not using the ash and ritual sword since I’m barely ever full health. Went with the max holy resist and axe talisman. Also I’m higher level so 25 faith for golden vow and flame grant me strength. Also white mask and verdigris. I was doing it with both summons so it was way harder but I managed to get it after like 2 hours

  The amount of stuns and interrupts is crazy. I was coming back to wow for some more pvp but it seems so hard to actually get some gameplay that feels like it “flows” because of all the interrupt type of abilities D: I need to learn to stay calm like you do when that happens. Thanks for the guide! Super helpful

  Did the exact same thing, and was doing 1200 damage per hit with no bleed. I’d hit him 4 times in a row and still no bleed. I genuinely don’t understand how this is so easy for people.

  very nice build! enemies that are grabbing/being grabbed cannot be damaged by other sources and that's why you missed during his grabbing your mimic.
