  Two beautiful aircraft. Nothing compares to the 747: sleek, elegant and fast. The A340, looks like a 707 (my favourite of all time) but with hi bypass engines.

  Air race? You are not serious. The USSR had to introduce a second parallel airway for the Airbus longhaul because they always caused a backlog being so much slower than the B 747 between Japan and Europe.

  First class landing by the pilot. The thing I couldn't help but notice was just how calm and peaceful the approach was, the fuselage is so well insulated in terms of noise. Great video.

  Good views of the old British Navy Communications base in Vacoas at 3:45, it closed in 1976. I was lucky enough to spend a year there before it closed. Good memories.
