  Listened to this episode, went out and read the book. Annoyed, pissed that it's the first of a series that wasn't mentioned and I have to wait for the others to come out! Enjoyed reading some of her other stand alone books. Wouldn't be so bad if I had really enjoyed i!

  I can’t tell you how much I enjoy your author interviews! It enriches my appreciation for the author and the work that goes into writing the book. (I am currently reading Shelterwood!) I am not on facebook, or any of the other social media platforms, so having access to Friends & Fiction on You Tube is awesome. Thank you for your time, and work, in bringing us so many wonderful interviews each week. It is appreciated! I am a big historical fiction fan and have read many of YOUR books, too!

  Many people learn by listening. I prefer reading, but audiobooks help so many others enjoy a book that, perhaps, they struggle to read the actual book.

  I've briefly studied this book. it appears to mirror my life. sex and drugs and rock and roll, my home was a disaster, go out on my own, find my way and make it somehow, but how? I'm grateful for all that I went through VS small town small life and never did anything but it wasn't easy.
