I've had a decent amount of people shrug off my bugera 333 but as I got it when I was first starting out (4 years ago) however I've been nothing but happy with it. Its killer, and brand new it was only around 700 bucks still not the best of deals but it beats the 1,500+ I was looking at.

It doesn't matter where this was made, not a fan at all. The split grain and the knots in the wood point to (near) future body cracks that will get worse over time.

i just purchased a Schecter Reaper Elite MS-7 in Blood Burst and its amazing, and a great contender for $1500 and under. I got mine for $1200 USD ($1300USD after taxes used). The blue colorway only goes for $1K USD used. Any chance you would pick one up to show off? Made in South Korea and amazing quality!

I LOVE how many social issues you managed to bring up at the start of this video. Don't get me wrong, I'm a knucklehead guitarist but all those issues you spoke of are issues I wanna see resolved, and not for me, but for people younger than me.

Um. Harry Potter hasn’t been banned absolutely anywhere, and the safest places in the US are statistically the places with the highest amount of private firearm ownership. Canada, on the other hand, is circling the drain and living under Fidel Castro’s son’s dictatorship. Worry about yourself, thanks. 🙏

Honestly, I can tell a slight difference. I do feel like the marshal sounds like it has more layers to it but then again you may as well record a few more tracks and make it sound nice like that and save 4500

Don’t tell Paul Reed Smith that no one wants to clone his sound … zero people are trying to make a Gibson/Fender/Ibanez/Yamaha/Gretsch/Charvel/etc sound like a PRS 🤔 (must be because of the wood used)

For me, mix B sounds very bright, I would say that it is due to the temptation of using plug-ins that go beyond the parametric eq but it is just a deduction from current “frequent” tastes, we get used to the high end making us bleed the ears. Mix B sounds more natural to me.

This test is crap. I guess it helps if you place something specific that is meant to reduce the differences - for one thing using the treble pickup. Also, you aren't playing the guitar to it's strengths. Everytime you play a guitar you see how it responds and play to it's strengths. Anyway, all my guitars are different and I have to change the EQ settings every time I plug in the guitar. There's also a problem of youtube cutting after 16k. Again, no one will be satisfied unless you do a real test.

You did great with the mix in showing how the amps can all sound similar! That being said, I honestly have found myself liking the Orange sound in general. I can see myself getting a Super Crush one day. The mids just also blow my mind when they're at the forefront. I'm not a "tube snob" though, so I have a feeling this test wasn't for me unless if it's to confirm my own bias in liking the Super Crush .lol

I've always liked the look of wood. Brands do so much to cover it up. This is kind of refreshing as you see it flaws and all. I guess it's like a Gibson but more honest and obvious while probably staying in tune better.

So this V is made in the Czech Republic and they used reclaimed wood for the body That is fucking awesome, I LOVE that and it sounds great!! Okay I'm sharing this video with my FB friends, they may never buy American again!! I'm no guitar player but if I were I'm not about to pay those prices from American companies, SORRY....not at all sorry!!! Not only does that guitar sound fantastic but it's gorgeous!!! The imperfections in the wood are what makes them unique, they're not all going to look exactly the same even if they were mass produced. I'm always one to get something that looks different than everything else, I go for the oddballs. It doesn't matter what it is, oddballs are just more interesting. If I can't find an oddball but like it enough to buy it I will alter it in some way to make it my own.

Definitely a one of a kind. And that's its own mojo. That's exactly the kind of guitar I would pick over anything that is rolled off an assembly line. Just because there isn't gonna be that many of them. I believe the documentary is called Carmine Street Guitars. But it is about a guitar maker in NYC that's been there for decades. He also gets reclaimed wood and makes guitars out of them. Also, how unholy would it be to use old church wood for metal guitars.

CZ has a tradition of string instrument building that goes back hundreds of years. And yes, in that country there has to be a lot of reclaimable centuries old wood. Great idea for electrics.

As an American I agree with Glenn on the intro points. I grew up in an household of blind patriotism so I've learned to see past the bullshit the others like to play with. Also, as someone that lived for years down the road from the place where Gibson teaches guitar building I feel somewhat knowledgeable on the twang thing. The tones you're getting is mainly from your baller speaker setup. Can't get over the new V30 + the neve IR mixed with some room on. I use the Rabea plugin to noodle with and those speakers make the experience way more enjoyable!

Nothing to do with "tone" or even instrument builds... Reclaimed wood can often be better. The tree actually had time to grow and develop stronger than the fast produced man grown "forest" wood.(Could be B.S.)

A little tip I learned for pool cues that's great if your guitar headstock gets dinged in shipping: Take a tea kettle and once it's boiling and steam is shooting out, hold the indentation in the path of the steam concentrating on that particular spot. Keep wiping off the condesnsation and be patient. The wood will swell back into place. It won't be perfect, but you can get the dent 90-95% of the way out.
