Shigaraki, while it is true they fought when it happened, did not pierce Bakugo’s heart. Bakugo’s heart exlploded due to his own quirk. During the fight, while the big three (Nehire, Mirio and Tamaki) fought Shigaraki aka AFO (at that point he was more AFO than Shigaraki), Bakugo was told to stay out due to his excessive wounds. Instead he had built up his sweat, which entered his blood stream due to the shear amount of it. This ended up making him much faster since he now let out sweat from his entire body, however in the end it became too much, and the sweat flowing around his body ended up in his heart and exploded.

This is by far one of the best Sensei Bakugo and Todoroki Aus ive ever seen, from the beginning to the end (if you do end up doing Deku as well im not really sure) but if not Im really hoping you bring these characters back even if its for skits, im also partially hoping for aomthing to bloom with Takehiko and Asuka🤭 Ill always love seeing anything SeroRoki relate. I just have absolutely fallen in love with these characters because usually we don't get to have them have there own personality and backstory. Also, for the sake of my own sanity, this is going to be based on the novel/manhua/donghua canon. Cql/untamed canon is something to unpack for another day when the frustration piles up again. -(also, everything derailed from my initial thoughts so i have no idea where i was going with this and it ends very abruptly)- I can never understand how the fact that jiang cheng’s sacrifice is glossed over so much that it’s as if it never happened in the first place; people acting like wwx wouldn’t be dead because there wouldnt be any burial mounds nearby for wen chao to throw him into if jc didn’t choose to distract the wen patrols in that market, and wen chao definitely hates wwx more than jiang cheng, so it would most likely be torture, golden core melted out of body, and then death before wwx could use his protagonist powers to stay alive This isn’t directed at anyone specific by the way; it’s a build up of literally all the mdzs reaction videos ive watched except for one (1) channel and reaction videos that are focused on jc (which is so weird because damn, is jc not being bashed on the bare minimum that we get from people who don’t stan, kin, love, or hyperfixate on jc?) People blame Jiang cheng for wei wuxian’s downfall as if it’s all his fault all the bad things that happened to our protagonist are all things that jiang cheng chose to cause happen Wei wuxian was wrong in the fact that it was a complete and utter violation of his brother’s body, no matter his good intentions. I wouldn’t like knowing that I got, idk, a kidney donated to me from my brother without my permission, when i could have lived a perfectly normal life without it. Obviously a golden core doesn’t equal a kidney but the idea is that jiang cheng could have lived a normal life without a golden core if there wasn’t a war to be fought or revenge to be got. The situation (parents just died, entire sect massacred, just got rescued from unspecified torture and losing the one thing that made him a cultivator, the thing that was literally his entire life) did not make jiang cheng react like he would recover at all. There were probably a lot of things wei wuxian could have done and said to get his brother out of bed and start acting like a functioning human being, but honestly I think most of those things have a 50/50 chance of working. If there is ONE thing Wei Wuxiang _definitely_ should have done in ANY canon, it is inform his brother of his plan to give him his golden core. Jiang cheng, like any humane and selfless human being who just _sacrificed_ himself for this _stupidly selfless older brother_ of his, would have declined, immediately and forcefully and probably even try and fail to shake wei wuxian while he was at it. I read a time travel fic a couple days ago about wwx going back in time and deciding that okay, maybe some things cant be changed, but maybe i can be less stupid and actually inform my brother of this dumb idea i had, and while jc tried to argue against it, he agreed to the transfer in the end. That is one of two ways i could see jc learning about the transfer from wwx. The other, well, i believe it’s less likely but if wwx didnt manage to convince jc then no transfer. Anyway, TLDR: i think that most people with favourites in this fandom dont treat other characters neutrally, with the knowledge that they have flaws that they can correct and consequently treating their favourite character like their precious baby that can do no wrong. Kind of like those extreme lan wangji characterizations that treat wei wuxian like a god and despise jiang cheng’s very existence

Also, for the sake of my own sanity, this is going to be based on the novel/manhua/donghua canon. Cql/untamed canon is something to unpack for another day when the frustration piles up again. -(also, everything derailed from my initial thoughts so i have no idea where i was going with this and it ends very abruptly)- I can never understand how the fact that jiang cheng’s sacrifice is glossed over so much that it’s as if it never happened in the first place; people acting like wwx wouldn’t be dead because there wouldnt be any burial mounds nearby for wen chao to throw him into if jc didn’t choose to distract the wen patrols in that market, and wen chao definitely hates wwx more than jiang cheng, so it would most likely be torture, golden core melted out of body, and then death before wwx could use his protagonist powers to stay alive This isn’t directed at anyone specific by the way; it’s a build up of literally all the mdzs reaction videos ive watched except for one (1) channel and reaction videos that are focused on jc (which is so weird because damn, is jc not being bashed on the bare minimum that we get from people who don’t stan, kin, love, or hyperfixate on jc?) People blame Jiang cheng for wei wuxian’s downfall as if it’s all his fault all the bad things that happened to our protagonist are all things that jiang cheng chose to cause happen Wei wuxian was wrong in the fact that it was a complete and utter violation of his brother’s body, no matter his good intentions. I wouldn’t like knowing that I got, idk, a kidney donated to me from my brother without my permission, when i could have lived a perfectly normal life without it. Obviously a golden core doesn’t equal a kidney but the idea is that jiang cheng could have lived a normal life without a golden core if there wasn’t a war to be fought or revenge to be got. The situation (parents just died, entire sect massacred, just got rescued from unspecified torture and losing the one thing that made him a cultivator, the thing that was literally his entire life) did not make jiang cheng react like he would recover at all. There were probably a lot of things wei wuxian could have done and said to get his brother out of bed and start acting like a functioning human being, but honestly I think most of those things have a 50/50 chance of working. If there is ONE thing Wei Wuxiang _definitely_ should have done in ANY canon, it is inform his brother of his plan to give him his golden core. Jiang cheng, like any humane and selfless human being who just _sacrificed_ himself for this _stupidly selfless older brother_ of his, would have declined, immediately and forcefully and probably even try and fail to shake wei wuxian while he was at it. I read a time travel fic a couple days ago about wwx going back in time and deciding that okay, maybe some things cant be changed, but maybe i can be less stupid and actually inform my brother of this dumb idea i had, and while jc tried to argue against it, he agreed to the transfer in the end. That is one of two ways i could see jc learning about the transfer from wwx. The other, well, i believe it’s less likely but if wwx didnt manage to convince jc then no transfer. Anyway, TLDR: i think that most people with favourites in this fandom dont treat other characters neutrally, with the knowledge that they have flaws that they can correct and consequently treating their favourite character like their precious baby that can do no wrong. Kind of like those extreme lan wangji characterizations that treat wei wuxian like a god and despise jiang cheng’s very existence
