    I had to build a trailer to be able to move my box… I built it on air so it lays flat on the floor my setup is 22.25 feet long x9 feet tall… that’s what one gets after 45 years of working! And I still need a bigger box… lol

    Nice video and presentation. Page 5:3 could be better with square nuts instead of hex nuts?

    @@philoso377 I tried square but then you have to rotate to get it set down all the way. I don’t have time for that.

    @@backintheshop9604yes you have a point, to me isn’t a strong point. It would take less time than capping a catchup bottle. Specially with labeled sockets, we want to return the socket with label facing out in a common orientation precisely, with square nuts.

    Lista and Stanley boxes are the shit! I just picked up my first one, and I’m amazed! I wish I would have known about them before I bought my Matco box.

    push on aluminum mig, is most important on steel you can drag or push. If you're getting pin holes try more gas or change angle of nozzle. your welds look good to me.

    I need help with a porta power pump I bought that doesn't Force the fluid to the cylinder a video on that would be cool there's not much on the internet about them

  • @backintheshop9604
    @backintheshop9604Ай бұрын

    Check the fluid level, make sure all of the couplers are actually releasing, so the fluid can flow other than that. You may have to disassemble the entire thing and do some investigating.

  • @kellyhines5170
    @kellyhines5170Ай бұрын

    Fluid was good. I swapped the pumps with one I borrowed and used the hoses and the cylinder from the kit and everything worked normally. So it's something inside the pump. And that's were I have an ignorance overload.😅..I just can't grasp the overall mechanics of the thing until someone explains it to me.. I have the vevor 12 ton jack.

  • @backintheshop9604
    @backintheshop96044 ай бұрын

    The first one I had lasted about a year. I warranty it and the one I warranted it for has been going on over two years now with no issues. If I recall, the reason I warrant it is, it was not burning clean, almost like it was batteringliquid butane into the element and it was not getting as hot as it should.

    Clever design. I like the Superman leg kick-up thingy. The low-rider design for the wheels and base is a good idea if you are working on short vehicles. It looks like the only feature missing is a pad or pool noodles or something to keep it from scratching or denting the vehicle being worked on. Please turn your camera 90°. I have this huge computer screen and your video is using 25% of it.

    I have an old wheel lift has weird chain system to do up down but cool simple design double roller and sprockets on both side I think cylinders goes horizontal but pushes into chain and transfers direction probably increase strength the cylinder is rusted and I have it broke down it was supposed to be winter project has only the cross bar it was given to me I need to find some metal and possibly cylinders and hoses pump may redesign . it was for larger roll back I believe How did you do remote hydraulics

    So, if I'm going to be running a cylinder on a dump trailer with a max working pressure of 2200psi, what would be the best pressure to set the pump at?

  • @backintheshop9604
    @backintheshop96047 ай бұрын

    You will want to set it to 2200. That way you don’t blow out your cylinder when it hits the end.
