Demetri is so freaking hilarious. I love his sarcastic yet realistic approach to everything. It’s a nice change from the dialogue of this show, his dialogue and Johnny’s stand out the most. Hawk’s transformation is a cool reveal, that was awesome. I can’t believe this show was a KZread original. It’s so good and such a gem. Netflix picked it up and continued it, and they kept the magic that was in it without changing it. Your predictions are always great. Next episode! Please! 😂

I don’t think your ability to predict plot points makes it seem like you’ve seen the show already, if anything it shows how invested you are, and how observant you are. This series gets CRAZY good and the character growth for everyone is insane. By the time you catch up, I’m sure you’ll be ready for the final part of the new season. 😊

At the beginning, when it cut to present day from the flashback, Johnny's face reads, "Crap, now I'm the one that has to be the mentor. How do I do it?" I think he's a great teacher though, despite his brash nature. He encourages his students to not let disabilities or obstacles limit them. And it's VERY telling that even though he said initially that he didn't want a full dojo "like that," not once does he actually kick out a student. It's funny how Robby got a job at LaRusso Auto just to spite Johnny, but he started to become a better person as a result. I would have liked to see Louie try and trick Robby again a 3rd time, but Robby turns it around on Louie, and Daniel and Amanda who witness the event laugh at Louie. 🤣Louie strikes people as someone that goofed around their whole life and got lucky that they had a family member open a successful dealership. That's why Amanda isn't his biggest fan.

I pretty much grew up with The Karate Kid and Mr Miyagi (the first movie came out when I was 10), so as you can imagine every flashback to Mr Miyagi in this series hits HARD. Like straight up weeping. 😭
