No offense, but there was another Filipina by the name of Ashley Robles that sang this same song for her audition for that same American Idol season. And still got cut earlier in the season. And I felt like she sang it better 🎶 so if anyone got robbed it was Ashley Robles. Not Jessica. So for me Jessica was good, but Ashley was better.

Some Asians have especially closed eyes, more than average. If that's her after surgery eyes, wow. It looks like it's hard to even see fully. And with the big nose, she wasn't really the beauty queen most news anchors are expected to be, regardless of race. That must have been hard for her and sadly, things haven't improved much for women in media.
