The Wood Working Man

The Wood Working Man

Hello there! Welcome to The Wood Working Man, this is a channel where I showcase my works related to woodworking and other stuff.

I love making things that are made from wood. I started this channel mainly to share my knowledge, techniques, and ideas about woodworking and other related trades of work. Sharing is loving as they say! I've gone through many projects in the past and I'm still doing projects now because this is my passion. Even though I have many experiences already, I'm still eager to learn new things that I can apply to my projects.

Type of Videos or Projects I make:
- Furniture and home décor
- Woodworking and shop projects
- Metal
- Concrete

Of course, you can always watch my videos for free. But you, hitting that like button, sharing your thoughts in the comment section, and subscribing means a lot to me. If you subscribe to my channel, not only you're making yourself updated to my videos but you're also helping my channel grow. Please support for more contents

We used to cut off long thin strips like that on a table. Of course the blade would invariably shoot the strip like a spear towards the wall behind us. The cure? Get a can of spray paint, paint a target on the wall, take bets. Table saws were always my favorite saw. I was able to cut anything straight with or without a fence. I once carved a small race car using the open blade without any fence....came out great. One of the stupidest things I had ever done.

Replace that poor blade, you burnt thru that entire 2x4 ffs

Clamp a small block before the blade to represent the size u want cut. Better yet just use a cutoff or radial arm saw.

Never run your fingers over the blade even with any wood in between .. there are voids and imperfections in the wood that can make it jump or break at any time especially when the wood is small.. They have push blocks for this reason Ask me how I know 😢

I ride my pinky along the top of the fence while securing and pushing the workpiece with the rest of that hand’s digits. Anything narrower than 2” (50mm) gets a push stick unless I’m feeling frisky and push it to 1-1/2” (38mm).
