    I went to a bar with my brother-in-law while we were on holiday in San Francisco and ended up meeting a couple who bought us beers. I remember thinking the IPA tasted a bit spicy, but I kept drinking and enjoying myself. My brother-in-law, who’s on dialysis, didn’t drink and watched over me instead. After the couple left, I felt pretty hammered but managed to get through it, thanks to my tolerance and my brother-in-law’s support. The next day, I had the strangest hangover that felt more like poisoning than a regular hangover. Always be cautious about who you meet and have someone you trust watching your back.

    On a certain level, we have DMT in our brain, the neurochemicals that show up in flow: so dopamine, norepinephrine, anandamide, endorphins, and serotonin. If you were to try to cocktail the street drug version of that, right, you're trying to blend like heroin and speed and coke and acid and weed- and point is, you can't do it. It turns out the brain can cocktail all of 'em at once, which is why people will prefer flow to almost any experience on Earth. It's our favorite experience. It's the most addictive experience on Earth. Why? 'Cause it cocktails five or six of the largest pleasure drugs the brain can produce. We're all capable of so much more than we know. That is a commonality across the board. And one of the big reasons is we're all hardwired for flow, and flow is a massive amplification of what's possible for ourselves.

  • @TheEdgeTreatmentCenter
    @TheEdgeTreatmentCenterКүн бұрын

    Thank you for sharing this detailed insight. It's fascinating how our brains can naturally produce a powerful mix of neurochemicals that create the flow state, an experience many find deeply rewarding and even addictive. This underscores the incredible potential we all have within us. If you or someone you know is struggling with substance abuse, please call us at (844) 590-0403.

    The fact your brain floods with DMT when you die only strengthens my beliefs in regards to there being more after we die and I’m not talking about religion, it’s why I’m not afraid to die but at the same time it makes you realise how pointless everything is on this human experience in regards to jobs, money and material things, so I’m stuck in not caring about these types of things yet needing them and wanting more and having a good career etc, duality

    Was smoking 15 mL every four days. Hitting it every 15 minutes 24/7 no matter what I was doing. Hitting it in sleeve in back of class while being on a complete different planet as everyone else in room. Withdrawals are legit hell, the addiction isn’t only because of how good it is (my favorite feeling in world) but because of how bad it is to quit and that’s the only thing that can stop it. Throwing up can’t sleep cold sweats extreme depression and suicidal thoughts headaches etc. made life hell. Trying to get off it the past month

    My counselor is very much against this😂. My clinic is a for profit not a not for profit clinic. I personally am for this as it will expand access to people in rural areas. I am down to 12 mgs a day and about to switch to Suboxone then the sublocade shots. Thank God!!! I do so much better on subs and have 5 good friends who were long time opiate addicts and all have stayed clean after their last sublocade shots. Some have 1 to 3 plus years totally clean and NONE have gone back to ANY drugs. My counselor said she's afraid of people diverting methadone on the black market and then a bunch of people dying because people are taking it and it'll kill them. I told her that even when I was using drugs methadone was so unpopular that nobody wanted it on the streets literally nobody the few drug dealers that would it once in a while just to have an emergency stash for themselves just in case and even when they try and sell it nobody would buy it, it was so not wanted that even one of the dealers I used to go to when he get up he'd leave the methadone that he bought in front of everybody and nobody would take it but he would always take all his other drugs with him when he got up and went to the bathroom. I mean nobody on the streets wants methadone literally nobody. I can't blame them stuff makes me feel horrible makes me feel like a zombie I have always been spiritual my entire life and created art for three decades in the year and a half have been on methadone I have been zero spiritual and not made barely any art. It literally makes me feel on human and I'm at a low dose. The average dose in my clinic is 120 - 160. Insane. They are putting people on as much as 300 plus milligrams now because of the fentanyl I can barely believe that if I wasn't told that by the doctors I believe that should almost be criminal. They say will people are using so much fentanyl because the people around in my town some of them are hot railing whole lines of pure fentanyl. Which is insane but when I got on methadone I just toughed it out for the first 6 weeks and only got up to 60 mg Max and then started tapering my toes down. Thankfully I was using fentanyl that was so pure I only had to use about $10 worth of Fentanyl all day. Still I just talked it out and wrote it out for about four and a half to 6 weeks. I'm not any better than anybody else but I knew I did not want to get on methadone at all. The only reason I did was because I didn't think it was possible to go from fentanyl to Suboxone without throwing yourself into precipitated withdrawals which I did seven times trying. I have since heard of the Bernese method which completely makes sense. And for people on methadone that is by far the best way to cross taper if you're below 40 mg a day of methadone to Suboxone. If anybody needs any help with that message me and I will send you or email you a copy of what my clinic gave to me and it goes into very fine detail about how to do it in every single day the dose and all that. Thank you for making this video and even if you don't think many people watch this the people that do are probably going to be very appreciative of it. God bless you and God bless all the people at the Edge Treatment Center❤
