  I am originally from South Bend IN, which at one time was dominate Polish. In the 60's and 70's you could throw a stick on the West Side and hit a polka band....you guys kick all their asses...

  Awesome job, as usual. When I played tuba on this song in high school pep band, we had a version with a walking bass line; did you go with the oompah style to make it more polka-y?

  Leadbelly, who introduced this song to the world, always sang "I'll get you in my dreams." The Weavers, who had a #1 pop hit with the song in1950 (the year after Leadbelly's death) changed it to "I'll see you in my dreams."
