What are the sizes for those small lugs you used to hardwire those 3 wires to the inverter? Thanks

Have the Ko2s. Looks great. Runs smoother than I thought. But man the gas mileage suffered a good -5 mpg compared to stock tires on my half ton.

For the double light fixtures, I swapped them out with “CT CAPETRONIX RV Lights Interior 1700LM, 3 Color TEM Camper Lights”. They were about $10 each. 3 lites temp, dimmable, real nice option.

A word of caution for the lights with added usb charging capability. These are typically underwired for the current that charges your phone, can get hot/melt lead to a bad day.

I have had Torklift upper stableloads on my 2017 F350, 7 years and they are in great shape. Your upper overload spring is not designed to carry the whole load all of the time. If they are then you are definitely overweight.

The only mistake was not smrunning the slide in and out several times before putting the fabric retention screws in (Per the instructions). This lets the fabric end settle in its best position and minimizes the tendency for minor diagonal ripples over time.

You make no sense. It was too cold in your garage. Are you running in the wintertime or summer? So if it's cold in your garage, that's a good thing, right?

Great idea, but is there a reason why you didn’t spread the sawhorses space between the dually wider ( greater than 2” inches margin) so not to be so tight when you pull in and out with your truck?

Love the ac unit video. How do you handle the condensation? Do you have any videos of the installation? I have a 1986 cab over pop up camper that I need to install a/c unit on… thanks for the videos…😊

Thanks for sharing! I like the free boondocking spot you found. Also, try the hike up to Heart Lake from Castle Lake (about 45 minutes up) and that will give you an even better view of Lassen AND Shasta!

I purchased second hand a 8' camper shell that had set on cross runners like this and found that the rear door had warped from sitting under a tree and the sun. The rear glass door would never close properly. I recommend storing a topper with 4 pads on the top of ceiling of topper.

This is more efficient than an ecoflow air conditioner using dc...and a 3rd of the price. Both are at 5000 btu. Any body come up with a DIY hoses for these window ac?

So mine works but after about 20-30 seconds after stopping airflow the compressor kicks on for 1-2 seconds and then cuts off and continues Is this normal? I assumed it would stay off completely until I engaged air flow. Or is it just losing pressure somewhere?

Going through a process of measuring, documenting construction, assembly methods used, sourcing of acceptable replacement materials, all would have been so much more helpful. The constant look how broke this is, becomes really distracting. Yup its all coming out would have been enough. Your rebuild talents must be such that you have faith in re-buildability.

5000 btu ac draws only 5 amp ac. I think if you have 4 solar panels 1.2kw and 200 amp lithium batteries and keeping air cooling low probably get you 10-12 hours of use.

That's a great idea putting the A/C on a table with the window. Still blows hot air outside. May make the unit more efficient when indoor temperature lowers and the A/C sucks in cooler air.
