Plane looks beautiful. I had a lot of fun designing it. I miss it dearly. I’d love to fly it again someday.

OK that's great !! Now my question is, will that work on a light twin ??

@@potatopilot1699 I thought I heard Scott over at "Fly Wire" say in a light twin instead of pushing the yoke forward, you do the opposite so that last little bit of rudder can receive some relative wind and stop the spin, then you would go yoke forward to break the stall, then gently pull out of the dive. Did I understand him correctly ?? OF course, I'm a total believer in BRS/CAPS and I look forward to the day all GA aircraft have BRS/CAPS. What I'm hoping for is the technology will get better and BRS/CAPS can be used at extremely low altitudes - even lower than current capability.

When my plane stalls and starts spinning I just jump out with my parachute. Insurance companies hate me.

Very good interview !! Most of DPE know very well their stuff. Which books they use for their knowledges like commercial instruments or ATP or multi engine ??? because some books are just good for the written exam but they are not in depth in the subjects

16:50 but in a real emergency if you need to slip the airplane to just 50 feet above the ground to drop it into that tiny strip of grass that is the only option... You should be able to do that. DPEs telling people not to do that will only hurt them in a real emergency.

@@duke3478 uhhh yeah he came out with a heavy hitter and gave me quite some time to find the answer. But he generally leads you to the answer without teaching so i respected that. Had some mis communication in the flight portion and he seemed disappointed about it but couldn’t knock me for it.
