    You know, it's been a few years since I posted this, and I actually can't remember! Sorry. I have a feeling it's from some clinic or masterclass, rather than from a particular tune.

    What kind of spurs/spur hardware are you using for the front of the drum?

  • @daviewavie112
    @daviewavie1123 ай бұрын

    Check out the tama hp50 or Roger’s rp100 kick pedals. They both have a feature that lets you adjust the height of the beater strike point. You can lower the strike point for use with smaller bass drums.

    Not these exact ones, but similar: www.drum-attic.co.uk/shop/spareparts/olympic/tom-posts-legs/pair-of-premier-clamp-on-bass-drum-spurs-legs/

    Are you using a drum lift for the bass drum?

  • @AdamOsmianski
    @AdamOsmianski3 ай бұрын

    Nope! I just lower my beater a little bit. It does strike the head pretty close to the edge (just under the Remo logo) but I think it sounds great. Timpani vibes, I guess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Does the kick pedal fit on the original hoop of the drum? Or did you have to get a wider hoop? (For the pedal to have enough clearance) And what did you use to lift up the front of the drum?

  • @AdamOsmianski
    @AdamOsmianski3 ай бұрын

    @@daviewavie112 Yep. It came with old-school wooden hoops that the pedal grasps, no problem. On the front I added some vintage clip-on bass drum spurs. So essentially, the drum is still perfectly in-tact as a marching snare. All I did was take of the throw-off and butt plate, which I obviously still have and could easily reattach if I ever wanted to.
