Hunting History

Hunting History

I dedicate my channel to promote the human history. We leave traces of our past both in writing, images, landscape and buried under ground. What some can consider as trash, other see as treasure. I want to share my findings and thoughts with the world, so I can enlighten the small things that’s slowly are being forever forgotten.

    I know you want views and stuff, But One should NEVER SHILL for the CCP..😉… Also, Settings were no doubt off…But Regardless, The Pirated copy was also Designed by Garrett so..?.. When the CCP steals Patents/Designs and have children build them, It’s the same product in essence..Just cheap/terrible labor and cheap materials.. It comes together sometimes but I never feels good to support it.. I get it, People want to save a buck or Need to resort to that crap…But, it’s like pan handling.. You don’t brag/compare…You survive and shush..

    though I had some problem with sea water It also kzread.infoUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

    If the Garret was on low Level, the querstion is, who is such a dumbass to reduce the Sens on a PIN Pointer? I think only ppl. Who pay that much more because they have then the Option to trash the searching depth, wow what an feature... Get your Signal with the Detector, Pinpoint with the Detector, Look for Signal Strength and then Dig it out with the cheap Pinpointer. End of the Story!

    Duh! The Garrett has three sensitivity settings dude! Six settings altogether counting the vibrate only ones. It’s waterproof up to three meters! It has sensitivity along the shaft as well as tip. Has a distance ruler along the shaft. Has a beacon beep to help find it if you leave it on the ground. Retune (ground balance feature) if falsing over hot ground! Superb customer service if you have to return product for servicing! Try returning the Chinese product for servicing or replacement and see what happens. I’ve got the cheap ones that were thrown in as package deals with detectors and I’ve got the Garrett “carrot “. There is no comparison.

    But, you're pinpointing, so, is further detection really better?? And distance in the air is hardly a test. Keep trying though. peace

    I have purchased a bunch of these Chinese pinpointers including those GP Pointers too. A bunch of sellers sell the same exact ones (identical) under different brand names. What I noticed is some of the them, which are the same are more sensitive than others. Out of 10 of them I have purchased, some have way better sensitivity and some really suck and barely detect more than 1/2 an inch from an object. I wonder why some of them which are the exact same models work better than others? Quality control issues maybe?

    @@FuturesPast1 True dat. I wound up getting one of the newer Pudibe PP through Amazon yesterday for around $28. For the price it's not bad. Good for coin size, or bigger metals. A crumpled up BB sized aluminum foil has to be touching the very tip to register. It's good enough for me, and for now.

    @@FuturesPast1 Thanks. It's no Tek-Point/F-pulse, or other upper end PP. But compared as a weaker version of a Garret Carrot it should suffice. I held out on getting a PP for a long time so it should be a game changer for me.

    The objective of the "pin-pointer" is to scream when it's right on top of the target or actually touching the target, not sound off when it is near or in the proximity of the target. Your metal detector did that for you already. You are doing yourself a disservice if you buy a pin-pointer that doesn't PIN POINT.

  • @ClintonFox29
    @ClintonFox292 жыл бұрын

    I disagree, you need a pin pointer that goes off several inches prior to touching the object and gets faster and or louder as it touches the unit. It would suck to just go off if touched. You must not detect that often.

    I'm into electronics and pointer circuits are not all that complicated. There's nothing in them that warrants a price tag of $200. Embarrassing for Garrett.

    I don't think you understand the point of a pinpointer. The chinese model is shit. The whole purpose of a pinpointer is to pinpoint a target, not to determine the general vicinity.
