  Are you a trained arborist? I pollard a few apple's and pears and often end up climbing a bit , not that high. I probably should get myself harnessed up. Do you charge more as soon as you put the harness on?

  £500/600 for half decent grass tĥen you need type 1, granno dust, weed membrane, nails, grass fill and a bit of profit to cover labour costs.. £1600 is very reasonable for 5x5m. You wouldn't have much change if you diy'd it tbf unless you got very cheap quality grass.

  true - thats about as low maintenance as it comes....apart from putting the odd stone back in its place- no maintenance..... effective but not too attractive

  Why not just pave your yard with asphalt? Imagine all yards just being gravel? Destroying the environment imho
