  I am also facing the same issue, immediately i got one mail from town script which has the ticket and in the ticket event date is showing as 19 may 2020, i selected 25 march while filling the form what should i do now, should i send the reference id and candidate criteria checklist on the mentioned mail id or not????

  My suggestion, start you preparation as per 3.1 and if you could complete preparation in few weeks go with 3.1 and by chances if you took more time to complete your preparation and reached near May-June than wait for 4.0 (4.0 is expected to be available during that time)

  Brother, i made payment today which is friday considering weekends 3days from today, so i booked for monday. I missed one of the point to skip weeknds for counting 3days, will they customer team reschedule the exam date please ASAP respond and help me to resolve the problem "I would like to request a change in my booking date as I am scheduled to travel on Friday, but I have not taken into account the weekends when calculating the number of days. I counted three days from today, including Saturdays and Sundays, which I was not aware should be ignored when counting business days. As a result, I have unintentionally booked for a Monday (12th) instead of Thursday or Friday."

  I am not sure what will happen in that case. You should appear in exam with stable internet connection( if you have electricity issue, use mobile Hotspot and charged laptop). It is very rare case that you will loose electricity or internet during exam. If that happen try to rejoin using exam link. But incase, system does not allow you to rejoin the exam then call on support no. of istqb.in Try to ask this question to istqb support team in advance perior to your exam. Also let me know what they says. If you need my help in any case let me know.

  What do you mean by ticket? Did you receive any email confirmation after your registration and payment. After registration and payment you have to send your payment receipt to ISTQB team on one mail id.   @@Move_n_improve As he mentioned in the video that version 4.0 is not available yet as per ITB is concerned. They haven't mentioned the exact launch date for it. It might take time. Although, you can still register for ISTQB exam through ITB, but that would be version 3.1

  Exact date i can't tell you because as per my last communication with Indian testing board, they have not finalized any date for istqb v4.0 . I think it may take 1-2 month but not sure may be more than that. I will update you whenever they will start v4.0. i will post a video when it will be available. In video i have explain how you can select v4.0 in india now using other member board, If fee ia issue than try to search member board with low fees. .

  They usually send mail regarding exam dates confirmation after you registration process in 1-2 days. And you will receive mail regarding exam link with instructions and with link to check system compatiblity about 48hr perior to your exam date. I hope It answered your question.

  Don't register for exam. I am uploading a video tomorrow on complete detail on version 4.0 and which version you should select. Watch that video before registration process. Answer to your question - you can give exam in any windows or other operating system. You just need an browser with camera and mic access with stable internet connection. After registration process you will receive a link to check if your system is compatible or not. Use that link to check.
