  The greatest jumper in women's figure skating ever. The height, the speed, correct technique Ito put on display make today's pre-rotated, quarter short, wrong edge jumps by 14 year olds look embarrasing.

  A lot of skaters today are "descendants" of Ronnie Robert's technique! When I used to skate, the elite coaches at the rink would always mention (with lots of pride) that they were taught by Ronnie Roberts.

  And Michelle Kwan became an artist on ice next year..... and she won the 96 National titles and 96 World championship. ( Lu Chen deserved the 96 World championship, too. )

  Ulanov was very fast and clean in the lifts and Rodnina's skating was more classically beautiful with Ulanov. I could see why Rodnina was so sad when he quit skating with her!

  A perfect delayed axel. I made my living as a skater for a couple of decades. Now retired, in my mid seventies I'd love to see todays skaters do delayed doubles, triples...well after seeing our current US men's world champion perform a quad axel...Frankly I'd be thrilled to see a delayed double axel as good as Peggy's perfect delayed axel performed over fifty years ago.

  Вот это и есть фигурное катание, а не то что сейчас. Кто кого перекувыркает и пере прыгает. С костюмами сейчас перебор, не должны отвлекать от выступления. Глаз не оторвать от выступления Горшкова с Людмилой. Спасибо им за память которую оставили нам
