I have never heard the term card candy before, but it looked so effective. Is it just card scraps circle punched the glossy accents added?

I love wreath cards. How do you determine where to place the stamp on your platform & paper so it comes out so evenly spaced? I can imagine I'd have big gaps between the stars or they'd severely overlap each other. I enjoyed your perserverance and making both cards work. Thanks!

@@1stLucySchmidt to be honest it is a case of trial and error - if it looks like it might overlap I would mask off the image - I did a holly leaf image for a wreath a few days earlier (go checkout the playlist for that one) where I had to mask off the image and then stamp the next image behind - it’s fiddly but you can get a sense of the size that will work as to play with it 😀 Thank you for watching x

Despite your trials and tribulations, they're beautiful! Maybe you need new die cutting plates and not an entire machine?? Also I've used all kinds of things for shims. Kids fun foam works best. Also maybe use your glitter paper as a base over die cutting it. 😊

@@karenyoung58 thank you x I only bought new plates a little while ago so suspect it’s the pressure in the machine rather than the plates so until I can afford a new one I’ll just have to put up with adding shims and steer clear of that glitter paper for die cutting like you say!

I thought it looked lovely without the stitching...didn't realize it was supposed to be stitched till you said so. Not sure what that says about me. I do like to keep the bar low. LOL It's a beautiful card!!!

I am also loving the Christmas in July series. You are giving me lots of good ideas and getting me excited to explore my stash of Christmas goodies. I usually mass produce the same card to send out. It becomes quite a drudgery, at times. This year I just want to have fun making lots of different cards to send out! Thanks for inspiring me.
