Thank you for stopping in and checking out my channel. I upload videos that I feel are interesting and informative. My video collection has significantly shrunk over the years due to the "KZread copyright police". and BOGUS copyright claims. I will always try to upload more unique video finds now and in the coming years.

From Squadron/Signal Publication, from their In Action series of the B-1 Lancer, the author was told to refer it as 'The Bone'. Love this majestic aircraft, one of the best. Take care, anf all the best.

I remember hearing that same Camel's pilot blipping it's engine at Rhinebeck during a landing. It seemed such a weird way to regulate speed because the threat of the cylinders loading up and stalling the engine.

Problems at high angles of attack due to bad positioning of the tail plane conveniently not mentioned. If they didn’t know about it, their test regime was inadequate. If they did know, then failure to mention it makes this just an MD marketing video.

Excellent I think the style they are showing is called Defendu. I believe it was invented in the thirty's for English police men by a English police man please correct me if I am wrong. This other stuff like hitting a man with a military helmet came latter on developed by the same man for the ww2 military. I believe his name was Fairbanks William an ex marine and then a police man for a very long time and he was tough as hell. He also developed the first swat team technques thank you for this very educational video and please have a good evening😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊.

So, is any of the bomber force able to get airborne with nuclear weapons if an ICBM strike comes? It sounds like we are dependent upon some deployment shell games and situational warning to have bombers at sufficient readiness for rapid response.

BS on the downing of von Richtofen. It'been forensically proven he was downed by ground fire. The Germans were the best. Coolest planes also.

God bless the Germans. They almost beat the French and British imperialists. Had the Lusitania scheme not suckered America into the war, the Germans would have won hands down. They were superior in almost all ways. WwII was the same. Patton said "we fought the wrong enemy." Some day fhe war crimes against Germany will be understood by the ignorant masses.

I was a ground radar controller stationed with the 831st AC&W on P Mountain, when the 327 FIS and their 102A's arrived as our fighters replacing the old F-89 that still used flashlights to ID aircraft. We met with the pilots we were to control informally at the O Club. They were cool and proud of the F102. I happened to mention that there's no alternate landing field, you have to make it back to Thule even in a white out. They sure sobered up fast

After one year at Udorn RTAFB, Thailand (1971), I was stationed at a little place called Matagorda Island AFR, TX. It was a bombing and gunnery range just off the coast of TX. The B-52's would hit the targets dead on from 30,000+ ft but the F-4s not only inaccurate as hell during bombing runs but sometimes they missed the entire island. A great airplane but man, those pilots needed some help.

My grampa flew 52 missions and he had a ton of stories about coming home on 3 or 2 engines, even 1. He said landing on 1 outboard engine was the hardest thing ever. He said "we had a landing gear being cranked down because we couldn't belly land, only one gear went down and they wouldn't go back up. We had only engine 4 running and no flaps, it was my 42 mission. We survived and lived another day to save the world"

In the beginning it is said that the rotary engine was cut and restarted in flight. Not exactly true. It was a nine cylinders engine and the pilot could cut off three or six cylinders for controlling the speed. The nine cylinders were never entirely cut off. Also, the rotary engine acted like a huge gyroscope. Because of this, the aircraft could turn to the right very fast but was very difficult to turn to the left. Reducing the power of the engine (cutting off three or six cylinders) facilitated left turns because the gyroscopic precession phenomenon became less important.

Saw them with the Ramones as an opening act (which was weird to me). Felt the bill was off, but they oddly complimented each other. I was a Ramones fan first, but this was a weird venue for the Ramones in a small club with Hoodoo Gurus headlining.

When I saw the spider web by the magnetos on the preflight I shuddered - when was the last time ANYONE did ANYTHING on that Bird? I know it's not seeing much flying time but I wouldn't want to fly something that seems like it's just be sitting and nobody was able to do PM and just keep it clean.
