Hi, Greg. Thanks for your wonderful video,. I do have a question regarding my ukulele. My microphone is a USB desktop model called MU900. I play the ukulele in front of that mike and when I record myself, the voice is clear but the sounds of the ukulele are choppy and unnatural. Is it possible for me to get a more natural sound with the ukulele and Zoom settings? If not, would an interface be an option for improved quality? Thanks for any advice.
Straight to the point thank you Greg
Thank you
Thank you, this was helpful! It took me a while to find a video that clearly explained all the steps to get a booklet PDF prepared for professional printing.
pitty they only have high and low knobs - i miss mids
How to get to the minutes one on KZread
Great video ! Cheers mate
Excellent video. I really like this method of explaining things. It's an audiovisual way that fits my brain better. It's also quick and just detailed enough.
Thank you I was stuck trying to monitor the audio from my PC and now I can, it's confusing having the 5/6 numbers below the USB 3-4 as you said.
Thank you for pointing out that the channel 5/6 volume nob is connected to the usb 3/4 button.
I'm a Zumba Instructor and did an audio test with my friend yesterday and it was like listening to it underwater,it was awful but this has worked an absolute treat and you've saved my bacon! A thousand thanks! I've been doing a little happy dance! :)
Hi! I'm curious, do you play the music using an external speaker for your Zumba classes? If so, do you give instructions while the music is playing? How do you handle that? Every time I talk and play music, my microphone prioritizes my voice.
Thank you!
awesome video thank youuuuuu
You saved my music audition. Thank you!
Can someone help please?! I have Connected two Balanced Output Speakers and a Mic. So my problem here is, that I hear my Mic through the Speakers and it doesn't matter if it is USB 1-2 or USB 3-4. Its like a direct Monitoring and i dont know how to fix it. Sorry, if this is a Stupid question but im kinda new. thanks for the help
Hello Greg, you nailed with that video I just boughted a mixer ProFX6v3 but didn't have a clue how to set it up but with your tutorial now I can start playing until I get the sound I want. Thank you really appreciate
Finally the video I've been looking for! Thank you so much for your time doing this❤
Hi I am going to purchase the mackie profx6 mixer. I want to video myself singing. How do I huck up to the iPad. I’ve tried stereo Jack outputs left and right to mini Jack into sc4 then into iPad. It doesn’t work. Thanks Vin
Does this do a mix minus when it sees the mixer is outputting sound and inputting sound through USB? Like a mix minus😊
Greg thanks. I got a Zoom H6 audio interface. And I have Logic Pro X as audio software. Would it be possible to control those audio channels digitally? So throught the Logic Pro X software? That is on a mac. But probably you have DAWs like Logic Pro X for Windows also. Adding those reverbs via the DAW should be possible, I think. Also I got a midi controller which is connected to the DAW. Could you do an episode where you connect a DAW and stream via Zoom or Facebook? And using a midi controller keyboard? Thanks. You already upped my game!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Love it!!!❤
Thank you for the essential help needed by a first time user, like me. Great work.
Is it just plug and play for iMac ?
very nice simple and less complicated and very well tutored :)
Does this connect to a pc via usb as the sole output and when talking into a mic the sound can be heard via the pc speakers? Or does it need one of the other outputs to be connected to separate amp/speaker? Thanks
Thanks for the video. I could not understand the last part. The blue rectangle is showing "Origninal Sound Off". Should be leave it so? or Should be change it to "Original Sound On"? (4:38).
Thank you very much for this video, you solved all my doubts,I just don't know why my computer doesn't work the 1-2 output of the mixer
This has been a huge help with my guitar instructional lessons. Thanks a bunch!
Like for the birdie 😄
Love it! Thank you so much.
Great video very well explained I’ve just ordered one for £95 on Black Friday sale thanks❤
One trick is for the other person to mute so that their echo cancellation doesn’t warble things further. If you want them to play to your own loop, they would either need the file ahead of time or record themselves playing to your live loop over Zoom and text you the recording. There are many ways for this to then be played and analyzed over Zoom. This DOES keep the student focused and engaged in a process, but should be done in hour sessions or create a program in which you are paid to analyze the recordings midweek.
does this apply to pc's, like Dell, as well. Also do you ou recommend students also make the adjustment to enabling Original Sound on their Zoom Audio Settings? another youtube video on sound improvement on Zoom recommends this, she is a Zoom music teacher. Thank you
VERY HELPFUL. THANKS, BRO!
Thank you. Great explanation.
Thank you…
Adobe now refers to these as "parent" pages, although it appears they function the same way.
After 15+ years of doing of 96-page magazine mechanicals (4-up), I have trouble with ID's preview (2-up). My brain wants to see the chart in thumbnails of imposing pages. I created a PDF version of a 100+ page book with QXP, moving the pages and rotating them so it would print the book for binding correctly, it made more sense to my mind than the software did.
In addition to monitor headphones, what about PA speakers so the large physical audience can hear the virtual audience? Is that feasible and can you fit that in this configuration?
Hi, is there a latency issue between two musicians playing guitar over Zoom? Thanks.
You have the best tutorials on this because you go slow and speak clear with hands on demo.
Do you all answer comments here? For some reason, my Zoom pages disappeared from my computer and I can't get it back! Maybe I have to start all over and download a new version?
An audio interface SCARLET vs. YAMAHA AUDIO MIXER with USP port - what is the difference and which one should we use for live music performance streaming through ZOOM
I don’t know if you still check your comment section. Would these settings help if I’m trying to set up a group performance of happy birthday in a Zoom meeting? (Like if there is piano accompaniment?) I want it to work!
Thanks for this excellent and most helpful video, Greg! I look forward to improvement in Zoom with singing and guitar.
Thank you again so much for this helpful video. I did what you suggested & I have a question. I am trying to make a video recording thru Zoom that includes audio of speaking and then playing flute. I have done what you suggested to make sure I have the sound settings set up properly but when I replay the recordings, the zoom audio picks up my voice well but almost totally cuts & barely picks up the sound when I play flute. I am going to keep trying to figure it out thru experimenting with the zoom settings. Maybe I should find a non-zoom way of recording :) but this is what I know how to do and have the setup for at the moment. If you have any suggestions or insights, I would love to hear! thank you again!
Thank you! This is very helpful!
Thanks so much! Our service tomorrow will be blessed tomorrow!
Good stuff thanks
BRO... You taught me something I've been struggling with for years! Thanks!
