  Would this work for editing video footage from DJI drones and GoPros? I record in 4K up to 240 frames per second and need to edit. I don’t play video games though.

  That's was the 4 years old version now it got better cpu and gpu and also got a better cooling and believe it or not the color of the keyboard won't wear as fast as the one in the video

  Reviewer Techs have gotta start using 365 Office as a prop for benchmarks and performance tests as well. For instance, switching desktops with multiple Excel Windows open, as well as MS Office Apps. Even though this a gaming laptop, I will probably put 0 games on it, as its for work. My gaming PC makes up for specs. but is unideal in terms of space for office work. I love my PC, but with such a big gaming screen the desktop switching takes a few seconds even with a 4.5ghz OC and a 16gb GPU. The ones at my work have no more than 2ghz and switch as fast as light. I'll have to actually wait for my GF63, which comes in today, to see how that is because off the bat I couldn't tell you who covers this. Games I do play : Arma (any series) DCS Beam NG Apps I use: VB VBA EXCEL VS CODE STEAM FILEZILLA FTP MS 365 (many accounts) Earth Powershell / Terminal etc.... Games like Arma 3 on any laptop well... tend to lag not because of the CPU but because of the consumption of power in connectivity. Also, unlike most games, you can keep increasing performance demand.... by many many miles of detail. Offline you might not notice much about it, but once your in combat things quickly change. So how far can you see?

  i have the one with i7 11800h and and 1650 max q and 8 gb ram. i got it about 2 months ago and it works perfectly. the only thing i'm worried about are its hinges. i haven't experienced any issues myself but i have seen a couple people say that their hinges broke within less than 2 yrs of use

  I also have the same laptop except that I have an i5 11400f processor. I connected it to my 165hz Acer monitor but im only getting 120hz refresh rate. Do u have the same issue? If not how do u fix it?

  there are some users reporting that the hinges break after less than 2 years of usage while other users have had the laptop for 3 years with no issues. this is the worst thing about msi - inconsistence. some laptops are great but others have problems straight out of the box.

  in 3.5 years of usage no problem with hinges but it does heat quit a lot with extensive usage as pointed out in video other than that it is really good for its price point

  Nope that's an old version and you can buy the 2022 version which have core i7 12Gen with rtx 3050 and 144hz display with 16GB ram DDR4 and 512GB SSD for around 916 dollars

  I bought this yesterday, its all good so far. And my only issue is that the battery drains fast :(( I thought it only drains fast when I'm playing a game but it is also the same when I use Google (to use FB and watch some videos), yet the battery still drains fast :( I guess I have to make sure to always bring the charger when I use the laptop outside

  Yes i use lively wallpaper and that gui is just msi's dragon centre software.
