safe travels mate !
Nice bro 🎉
gracias amigo !
i've never felt as safe as when i was in the favela. i'd never heard of this place before going to Brazil and i told myself that i wanted to go and see but i hadn't looked into it before and it's impressive when you've never seen it before. i saw them when i arrived in Rio by bus and it shocked me.
Love this, thanks!🙏
No, they are NOT! Zpanish are....😡Drugs, prostitution, rudness...Lolas & Manolos just want ...€€€
As a mexican, I can tell you this guy has no idea what he's talking about. I can tell he's BARELY middle class, and his perception is quite narrow... He's not speaking facts
interesting, care to expand?
34:28 Really? 😢 Brazil is expensive and shi&t and all that but Amazon iPhone 14 price is around 3700 reais via pix. Average salary in Brazil, a little over 3000. So how could an iPhone be 30% of a yearly salary? 🤔🤔🤔

Loving Germany since my Grand-Grand-Grandfather (since about 1870) Giving my people the Greatest line of Kings and the most prosperous time in our History ! Almost 80 years of Germanic Royalty and the discipline and quality that came with it, transforming our meager East European country into a local power-house ! edit: It began with: König Karl von Hohenzollern und Sigmaringen, aka, King Carol the 1st of Romania ...
Glad to hear you are a proud German! Need more
Real stuff. But its not a money issue. Many eastern europeans and asian countries with less money and they dont have that type of crime.
agreed. from my travels, came to conclusion crime is more correlated with culture, not poverty.

I was planning to in 2022 while living on the border of poland and belarus. then the war happened. where do you recommend?
@@boldperceptionspodcast hmm I would definitely go to Minsk. There is such a thing as a Troitskoe District. And you can go to Mir or Nesvizh, there are a castles there. Also you can go to Polotsk, the oldest city in Belarus
This a great interview
appreciate It ! planning on visiting soon?
@@boldperceptionspodcast yeah trying to decide between Recife, Fortaleza, or Joao Pessoa. Any advice?
@@NOVNIGHTS JP or Fortaleza... more relaxed, very safe - JP. More fun & dangerous, fortaleza
The NE is meh, I prefer Santa Catarina, São Paulo, and Paraná

Well, how much culture does the rest of the world have. Quite frankly America is one of the very few countries that accepts everybody. How much culture can we take in
think andres refering to how americans live inside a bubble, pros and cons to that.

I got my Permanent Residency Visa yesterday, so I am here forever. We live in an Assisted Living Facility that my wife built with three houses, our pool, car etc. We are about 6 hours from Fortaleza and 20 minutes from Jericacaro, one of the best beaches in the world. I have been going to Brazil for the last 50 years, so I understand some of the views when i was younger, but now my life is nothing like this. I live in a small village of only 2,500 so. I am the only American in my city as well as the larger city, so this is kind of funny. My entire family is Brazilian. My Wife and Mother live here. We have no dept., so all this rent, money for Ubers etc. is not us FYI, If you can make it through the day in the USA without being in a Mass Shooting you can talk about Brazil, otherwise I have news apps with every news station in the DC, MD, VA area so I know when kids are carjacking a car and shooting there friends, while I am having some Pao de Queijo on the beach in Brazil. FYI i have EXPRESS VPN, so all those channels like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, NFL Sunday Ticket...i get the American transmission. I am not flashy, but I have an entire glass enclosed KZread Studio with twin monitors, Adobe Creative Cloud etc. Our compound is gated, and my wife has her dog and Simba sleeps in our house, so I guess we are the rich people...Yes i have a dual washer / dryer. Ha, Ha...No Simple here. FYI, In the early 80"s I used to hang out at the Cafe on Cocabana Beach while the fellows were talking that talk looking at the ladies. In my day it was Cruzado´s for money.
Bro this is great information, I had a feeling our govt(us) is exaggerating a little. I appreciate you 🙏🏾
thanks amigo! glad you enjoyed

So when British troops go to the US to perform combat exercises and training, are the occupying the US
you're right 4 british bases with very limited troops are the same as 40 confirmed bases and 35k american troops in germany. lol.
Bro forgot that the Cold War happened and that nato exists
'bro' thinks NATO is anything other than a front for American policy lmao

You probably could head elsewhere, it's not the most beautiful place to visit. I would probably have my sandwiches stolen if I lay on the beach😮
ALL of the northeast is NOT the same, you have to be specific. SALVADOR gets a lot of tourism but it's not the safest city, beaches aren't very good in town. Very active and friendly place MACEIO has the prettiest beaches in Brasil, they look like the Bahamas. Also has a lot of decent restaurants. Not much going on there otherwise, mostly safe on the beach RECIFE is very mixed. Is mostly safe but has bad areas too away from the beach. Some areas are very ugly near downtown and the airport. BoaVista Mall area is great for cheap food. Has many excellent cheap and expensive restaurants of all kinds, more than many other cities. You have very rich and dirt poor living next to each other. I remember seeing a bright yellow Porsche 911 in the beach area and another guy digging through the trash in front of him. The rich are the most arrogant priks you will ever meet even towards Americans. Lived there for years JOAO PESSOA is one of the best cities in Brasil. lived there for 3 years. Mostly very safe, nice beaches, good restaurants. I'd say it's #2 city in Br NATAL and FORTALEZA have nice beaches but highly dangerous. Your guys didn't mention why. Some years ago a major drug lord who was in prison in the south of BR Porto Alegre was transferred to a prison in Fortaleza. All of his crimminal drug gang buddies followed. Ever since both cities have been dangerous. I met a retired Army guy in Recife who left Natal beacuse it was too unsafe - car jacking, gun robberies etc. Let me comment about the south; CURITIBA, FLORIANOPOLIS -#1 city in Br, JOINVILLE. The south is like living in Europe, founded by Germans, Italians and eastern Europeans. Lot of great cities. VERY safe any time of day. You will find more people down here that speak english than any other city in BR. They are very friendly too especially towards Americans. The beaches never get warm enough for ME to swim in the south and has a cool winter, some areas get some snow. BIG negative for me ONE MORE THING - PORTO ALEGRE IS VERY DANGEROUS, they have a gun mentality there, lots of drug dealers. My BR friend was shot and killed by robbers as he was coming home. Thousands of people in Florianopolis left Porto Alegre to live here, my building is full of them. The people in the outlying areas ; Novo Petropolis, Caixas do Sul, Gramado, Garibaldi, Bento Goncalves, Canela are very nice and these towns are safe. Lot of wineries #1 city in Br, The trade offs are that you will have tons more friends in places like Florianopolis mostly because more speak english and the population is highly educated but not arrogant. My problem is the cold water on all the beaches, unless you are from Argentina, you can't swim in it. The other thing is that the restaurants suck. They mainly live on pizza, the churrascos r$80 PP ($30) are 2X more expensive than the north and not as good. The meats they serve are tough garbage and horrible. Very few por kilo or chinese restaurants. THE NORTH on the other hand you'll have a lot less friends because you really don't have much in common with them and they don't speak english The beaches are wonderful and the water is HOT, you can go swimming all year. Great area for boating too. BUT you will find 10X cheaper and better restaurants in cities like Recife that the south does not have. You can do churrasco for r$49 ($10)PP or get a large plate of Yaksoba for r$15 ($3), coxinhas $1, Pastels $1
Very good comment, this is real informative, thank you kindly.
