  It's a 5.8 liter V8 and it's Australian, American Fairlanes were different designs. For the record there's nothing slow about those 5.8 liter engines, they were beasts.

  I suspect this is actually an Australian designed and built ZF or ZG Ford Fairlane 500. Australia was exporting a lot of cars to South Africa in the 1970's. Ford USA dropped the Fairlane name badge in 1970.

  Yeah the guy is not getting it right with the engine size either, it says 351 on the badge so it's a 5.8 litre not 6.2, unless he's bored it out or something.

  @kasicarculturesa5022 the ones in the UK are very rotten due to the wet weather in the UK and good ones go for silly money. I've currently got a t4 with a 1.9tdi conversion
