Was looking at getting one for bible study. Came across this video randomly looking at scribe reviews and your suggested reading was exactly what ive been reading. And your notes page is exactly what i had in mind. This just confirmed this is the choice for me. Thanks again and All glory to God!

you really dont know . your''pub'' format is called epub not pub, and it doesnt belong to kindle, it was a format before kindle itself was born, it is very old, amazon just switched to epub a year or two ago, and this is how i caught your lack of knowledge in the area

  • @patricklacson

@@raulaleman2277 on some newer Amazon kindle books you can, but not like a PDF. You write in boxes in sections you've highlighted. I think its because of the ability to resize. If you write, resizi changes pages, and will distort your writing

@@patricklacson I personally doubt it, amazon monetises more through book sales/ audible/ kindle unlimited rather than hardware sales. If they do make it available on any device it will also be available on Kindle scribe, simply because it has the capability to. The backlash would be too big if they didn’t. I hope it does happen eventually, but for now just writing handwritten notes over highlights is good for me

@@patricklacson I started back in Oct 2023; I'm currently on it still, but I'm also re-introducing vegetable-based foods like kimchi and other raw fruits and vegetables. Big key in the diet is essentially eliminating any processed foods, especially anything with sugar in it. My diet basically consists of beef, chicken, fish, pork, and eggs. Mornings, I eat 5-6 eggs + bacon. Lunch is steak and kimchi. Dinner, steak or any of the other meats. I got rid of all snacks other than fresh fruit. If you have Signal, we can chat there if you have other questions.

On the new iPad pro that just came out you can get a matte finish screen to avoid glare but it's about an extra $200 I believe on top of the regular price? Also I think it's only available on the specked out version. I'm waiting for my Kindle scribe today so thanks for the quick review pastor 🙏🏻✝️

How does it do reading PDFs that are image heavy. I just bought the Kindle Paperwhite. While it reads text only PDFs just fine, it's very slow with image heavy PDFs. It takes about a minute to turn the page. Does the Kindle Scribe have this same problem?

( from Songs of Hymns of Grace ) source : Musicmatch .. Ben Everson version of singing is wonderful too

Sadly Piper is a false lordship teacher that denies eternal security for believers, and security is essential founding doctrine.. if you think paul washer and piper speak with tortured and pious language, thats because Calvinism produces that. Run away, its finished, remove your yokes, you will sin much less.

I was invited to go with some of my friends/brothers in Christ. I was unaware you had to be in line with reform theology to attend. Where I'm from we fellowship with anyone who believes the gospel and accepts Christ as their saviour. I try to stay away from a 1500 year argument between believers. At the end of the day whether you're " sovereign grace" or "freewill" all you can do is argue with other believers over it. Neither side can evangelize the lost with it. I was just appalled when Lawson went on the attack. I'm sure the Lord is pleased and glorified when his own devour one another.

  • @Saruse79

@@marlin3014 I didn't go on accident, and my friends are all calvanist leaning, again this is a debate among believers. I listen to Jmac often, I just tune out when he gets on a predistination soap box.I don't see those in the reform movement as heretics, my friends look at me the same. That is why Lawson proclaiming "free will" as a pagan myth and aligned it with believing in the Easter bunny and the abominable snowman was appalling. You put alot of fine Christian people, some who have became martyrs for Christ in that category. I dare say satan and his demons celebrate when Christians attack one another over individual interpretation of a few passages of scripture. Romans 9 being one of them. Neither side denies the virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial death, and the glorious resurrection of Christ. Theology doesn't save anyone it just gives alot of believers something to argue about.

  • @Saruse79

@@marlin3014 How is calvinism the gospel?Jon Calvin was a sinner like every other man. Do you have to be a calvanist to listen to jmac?Im sure even he wouldn't agree to that. While I don't agree with jmac on election, he does preach on other things. I dont know of anyone who agrees 100% of the time. I never said I enjoyed the conference or plan on going back. Honestly it felt like I was at some kind of a cult gathering at times. Most of the men out there put Jmac on a pedestal like he is some kind of mediator between Christ and man. I will say the folks from Grace church where very gracious and kind. I guess not all calvanist are arrogant, rude,& condescending. Just an honest observation from a Christian focused on worshipping Christ and not man.

Are you happy with the way things are going in Piper’s non-Trump world? Abortions paid by you, the taxpayer, globally? A president who wants to fund cutting off the breasts and penises of children in what is called “gender affiliating care”? I’m going to leave it at just those two. Can you really think two issues through? What does Jesus think about us funding abortions worldwide? Or “gender affirming” care? Or do you think He is still obsessing over Trump’s pride-sin to the exclusion of pretty much everything else?
