  You have any issue where the game was stuck at the loading screen ? Tried reinstalling and resetting my deck to factory and carx gets stuck on the loading screen

  I never had any issues with CarX, sorry. Maybe you can change the compatibility settings for the game and get it to work that way.

  I have not tried 1080p, sorry. However I think that it should be possible with a lower graphics preset. Hard to say.

  @mikey9836 this should also work with Sonoma. Just keep in mind that it only works for games running on the Metal API.

  @@dailycompute doesnt work with No Mans Sky . I know im not doing it wrong because I used to do it a ton when I first bought my m2 pro 16 inch in the summer before Sonoma. I appreciate your comment tho!

  @@dailycompute I would really appreciate it if you could. Im honestly hoping that I am doing it wrong instead of the HUD being broken. I open terminal and paste /bin/launchctl setenv MTL_HUD_ENABLED 1 and hit ENTER. When I do this I cant get no mans sky to launch. Opening activity monitor says that No Mans Sky is "not responding". I have footage of me in August using the HUD to see my performance. Maybe its possible I messed up the pasting or something 🤷‍♂.

  While these settings can improve your recording, they are not the same for all microphones. These may be a good baseline but can also create problems. Use with caution.

  I had one of these and it sucked sooo badly. There was no sound. It was slow, couldn't run anything besides a browser. A chromebook or mini pc is jist such a better option

  That‘s weird! Are you sure that you set your threshold to a reasonable value? What do you mean by „wiped“? A flat line where the audio was, or is the entire track deleted?

  These things were ahead of their time and I had the pleasure to use one when trying to show a presentation but the PC at the location had issues opening it. Being able to carry a system you know works to directly interface to a projector in this form factor is a very underrated ability, you just maybe need to be the type of person to travel around and show presentations with minimal prior troubleshooting. Apparently Minisforum is attempting to revive the concept with a Stick PC that uses USB C for media and power solving one of the most glaring issues with most in current circulation, which lack an internal battery. It's definitely something I'll be looking for, even if it costs a little more than a Mini PC of similar performance. Of course a runner-up for filling this type of purpose would be a smartphone, but I haven't yet seen anything that lets them interface to HDMI, usually it's the projector that is adapted so it can talk to a smartphone, which excludes any and all venues sporting anything older, as well dumb TVs (which is the state they all should be).

  I pretty much just installed Windows on my SD card & Fanatec drivers. Just note that the Deck Controller does not work out of the box and needs a workaround to function correctly. If you are planning to use a wheel or an XBOX Controller you should be good to go. Edit: You will need the Steam Deck drivers for Windows, which are available on the Steam website.

  Interesting. Is this the only file in your archive, or are there more files? I have never encountered this error but maybe try to extract the file in question without entering a password.

  @@dailycompute There is only this file in it. When try to unpack it asks for a password, when try it in John it says its not encrypted.

  The overlay only works for games running on Metal. Is crossover using Metal to run the game? You can check the link in the description if you are not sure.

  ok. I can see the screen lag with the naked eye. that's really a lot. and the blue-toothed gamepad will add another input lag. for modern casual single-player gaming, apart from soulslicks, this is not critical. but you can forget about any online team play.

  That’s exactly what I stated near the end of the voiceover. Competitive games may suffer from the latency but for casual games this is fine. This setup is very suboptimal. Wireless network, Bluetooth gamepad and underpowered Compute Stick. With all that in mind the performance is honestly quite good.

  You can actually play Fallout 3 on the intel compute but it requires so much downgrading in the settings text. When you do play it, the game looks like pre-alpha footage with n64 graphics.

  I don’t recommend using a Compute Stick for Unity but in a pinch it should run, although very slow and possibly unstable.

  I think Great thing u can do to these sticks is to install Linux on them ESPECIALLY with older models since that’s only 64bit os that stick let’s install without too much issues Linux is much more light weight and probably will perform better in gaming and tasks it was actually intended for

  @haysen123 Metal has been introduced to iPhones in June 2014. All iPhones with an A7 or newer support Metal. As far as I know the iPhone 5s was the first device to come with an A7 chip.

  Ich denke mal du meinst 4,35V und nicht 3,35V? :) in dem Fall wäre das ein HV Akku, der auf 4,35V pro Zelle ausgelegt ist und bis dahin geladen werden kann. Wenn du auf Nummer sicher gehen willst, kannst du natürlich auch nur bis 4,22V laden, verlierst dann allerdings etwas Kapazität und damit Flugzeit.
