The gaps between slats is pretty high though, so very apparently not continues boards. Would be nice if they looked more continuous
How high is the gable part of the roof?
Joists? Or joises? 😂
yep missed that one lol
Thanks for the comment 😊
Joists? Or joistes? 😂
Thanks for the comment. 😊
Until the sheeting is on to hold it all together.
Couldn't you just do porcelain tile and getaway with it??
In my part of the world the very idea of building a house out of OSB plates sounds insane. People here will only use it for decorative kind of jobs or putting together a toolbox shed at best. The exterior walls of my home for example are 30 cm thick metal-framed concrete.
You mean people do different things in different parts of the world? Cool.
Thanks for the comment. You are right, there are different ways to build. We appreciate you watching.
Thank you for these breakdown videos. I’ve always been into architecture and I’m leaning so much. I😊
Make it big enough to fit 2 queen size beds side by side you want enough room so you can walk around the bed a put in a dresser and put a cot next to the bed
I have a similar home, if I wanted to rebuild over remodel, what kind of budget should I consider?
Can you share the floorplan, please? I really like the dimensions.
Great reasons to use 5/8 in conditioned shed I’m finishing intended for wood shop.
Great video you deserve more likes and views I don’t know how I have a short that’s more popular I cannot believe it this algorithm broken I hope you succeed
Just keep at it. This is a binge bank. Eventually it will tip.
What type of floor and what size is the tile? Thz
Porcelain large format from Bedrosians 24x36in
June is the best month to sit outside watching the sunset in Phoenix.
5/8 is actually cheaper 05/18/24
What sink faucets are those?
can you post a video how to hang double 5/8 in a room..?
Frame Rate: yes Context: no (Video: liked)
Who killed that sink on the floor?
Haha
Should be interesting rebuild
Ahhhh Gaaaa, not A-G-A. Jeez.
Can’t wait to see the design
do you have to order custom size base cabinet?
Yes to. Uch
great breakdown man
have you used Noir coffee and speed oven
we all have the same question. you all thinking two faucets too! lets goooo
Great looking homes. 40-plus year housing veteran's (from Building and Brokering, to Mortgage Origination and back again) opinion.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Subscribed. I was told, by an experienced contractor, that it hides framing imperfections better as well.
Such a necessary topic to cover every time building a home!
Excellent, I really like the finish on the driveway and especially that custom garage door.
Thank you!!
My question is why do you have dislikes disabled?
So I had the option of building without a permit. But decided to go with permits in case I decide to sell. Here you need a site address for permit. We have fire numbers for site addresses. The septic permit was easier than I thought to get. We build a lot of lake houses so wet land permits are a pain sometimes depending on county. I am in a large county with only 9000 people so permits move fast. The septic permit was ready in an hour. Got back to camp and had to drive back into town to pick it up.
Originally I wanted a huge post and beam timber frame. We build custom timber frame houses. But reality and budget said no. Went with a passive solar simple skillion design, because in the cold north. I had to play with design to keep cost down. Spent hours going over building codes. Would of been easier to hire someone for help with design even with a simple design. And missed some things in the building code. Had an issue even getting fire number for site address.
What brand to you prefer for the weep and control joint?
Nice stove but I don’t care for the top of the gas stove to be stainless. It would be most beneficial to offer either quality enamel or stainless. I have had BOTH types of surfaces and I prefer enameled. I don’t buy stoves for the looks only.
I'm suprized you guys don't do blue roofs
Lot of permits. I am in area where I can build without a permit under 600 sq feet. But pulling permits in case I want to sell.
Interesting! Thanks for the comment
Black creates heat no way
Black roof draws more heat
Paver pathways that the Romans and Greeks built are still in use today.. You'd be hard pressed to find a 'poured concrete' driveway from seventy years ago years ago that hasn't crumbled to bits, let alone three or four thousand years ago.
Stamped concrete is the way 2 go!! If u need sranped concrete in the PA area? hit me up
Should be underground that way, we don't have to see any of it. More energy efficient in the first place.
Number 11!
Black roofs should be outlawed due to global warming.
the only reason for black windows is builders use prefab metal windows and black are the cheapest they can find.
We use thermal breaks around doors and windows. Then spray foam around windows and doors and bay next to them. Every thing else mineral wool. It's about the moisture. Mineral wool does breath but not sealed in wall by windows and doors in cold climates.
Black windows? I can't think of a worse looking window.
I decided to put 5/8" on my little custom home in Buckeye a couple of weeks ago. The minimal additional cost made the decision a no brainer. I had concluded to use it for the same reasons you listed. Thanks for the confirmation!
Thanks. That would be awesome if you had some kind of chart or diagram we could follow as you talk.
