  It does have a different initial scent. I’ve been buying this Gourmand Coquin for many years and Now Feve Gourmand. When I talked to the perfumer they said it’s exactly the same. It can’t be. It’s got a different opening. GC is stronger and thicker. It’s too bad they changed it. I think honestly they watered it down to make more money. People have to wear more to get the Sam effect.

  I heard this stuff pre Estée Lauder was legendarily strong much like how black orchid used to be way more potent. This scent exceeds categorization it’s a gourmound, it’s chypre with oakmoss and it’s definitely oriental and spicy. This is as important of a perfume as Shalimar imo.

  So many of my favorites in this review! I own most of these. Neroli Outrenoir is a favorite of mine. I like to use Gourmand Coquin as a holiday scent on a ceramic ornament. Ceramic ornaments are a nice way to perfume your home in a subtle way.

  Fun review! I like to spray "the herb one" on a ceramic ornament and hang it in the kitchen. I did purchase Oud Nude. Sandalwood is an iffy note for me - I may like them on the initial spray but then I have to wash them off.

  I blind bought this and once I got the dryer sheet smell in my head I couldn’t get it out. I loved it at first and then it became my least favorite of my 400 perfumes L O L. I ran into your video and I sprayed my room with it and I will try to love it again, but I think it’s doubtful. Thank you for your video!

  To like this fragrance, you actually have to be looking for that dryer sheet, laundry smell. That’s what I wanted that’s why I like it. I hope you get to like it as well. But if not, nothing g wrong with that. 😉

  I love Chanel perfumes in general I feel the same way you have described coco and 1932 I love n 22 and bois des lies which are both similar to n 5 parfum ( extrait ) The parfum ( extrait ) are discontinued as far I know in the small 15 ml bottles

  I own 9 from the Les exclusives. My latest one was 1957. I remember getting a sample and trying it and just didn't like it. But after it settled it was so good. So good that it has become my favorite musc of all time. Now I even enjoy the opening which can be slightly chemically like nail polish, but I absolutely love it now 😊
