Aah thank you for your kind words! That keeps me going! 😁👏🏻
I think in my design I was not fully using the power of grid, thnx I will incorporate grid to help me better design my brochure.
Hello Naresh, aah ok happy to hear you found value in this video! Happy to hear how you’d experience it working with grids! 👊🏼 good luck!
Thank you for this amazing and useful piece of content on grid systems. I work on Print and Digital design projects taking lot of time but now this will help me to save a time.
Hi Asmi, thank you for your kind words! Happy to hear you found this content valuable! The best past is you can use grids for both print and digital! Huge time savers right?! 😁🙏🏻
@@Typefool 💯 time saver
I'm in design class. DND, please!
Haha I hope you enjoyed it! ✌
I wonder if I do this on an android , we can find the files under the same names? I find it very difficult to find the files so I can copy paste
You can find the download files in your download map I think, haven’t worked for a long time on a android device so I am not sure! But just to be use it has to be some kind of pc or laptop 😄
I did a 10k run for Nike with this technique. Killer diller. 😅
hi and thanks for your video ! are there any websites or other to get grids for free ?
Hi Thomas, you can try this webside tarasdesign.github.io/gridder you can set the format, columns/rows etc and it will show live what you create en eventually you can download the modular grid as pdf! 😄 hope this is helpful
@@Typefool Ok, thank you !

Thank you Tahsin for timelining the video 😄🙏🏻
There are better alternatives other than Adobe. They’re in a lot of hot water for their hidden business practices. And they’re changing their users agreement, now they’re going to use AI to steal your content. It’s not a good look and creative are responding.
Hi! Thank you for sharing, what better alternatives are there do you think, similar to InDesign. I also saw a video that people are interpreting the user agreements wrong and that Adobe isn’t going to feed the algorithm with it but def something to be on the lookout for.
Very helpful for me - thanks very much 👍
Thank you Janos, happy to hear it was helpful! 🙏🏻
Thank you.....
You are welcome! 🙏🏻
Have a quick question. When you are making modular grid, do you consider matching it to the baseline?
Hi Keith! Thank you for your question! Yes, when I work with a lot of text, I match my modular grid to the baseline grid. This ensures all text lines up consistently across the entire document. It helps maintain alignment and readability throughout the design. Is this something what you think would be interesting for another video?
@@Typefool Thank you! Would be super helpful if you create video related to that. Thanks for the quality contents always~
👍 great, Really Helpful for Graphic Design 😃🙌!
You’re awesome. Keep creating.
Thank you Ajitesh! Appreciate your kind words!
👍🏽 cool
Thanks!
Wow! 👏👏👏
Thank you! 🙏🏻
great stuff! I'm a photographer always looking to improve my design knowledge and skills! Thank you.
Hi man! Thank you! I am happy to hear you liked the video . Thank you for sticking around 👊🏼
how do you know how many columns, rows and gutters you need for your design?
Good question! I think the number of rows and columns depends on your content and design needs and the complexity of the layout you want. What you can do is start with a basic grid of 4 rows 8 columns, and adjust it based on how you want to structure text, images, and other elements.
@@Typefool It would be great to have a video or several in the future if that tells you something about the subject. What do you think ?
Thanks typefool
You're welcome!
You are best
Cheers mate, thanks for the kind words!
Very useful
Hi Bharat, I am happy to hear it was useful!
Love your work!
Thank you! appreciate that 🙌
🤩 Brother, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
Thank you! appreciate the kind words, that keeps me going 😁
Oh, I have a question, why sometimes in some books or editorials the margins are not on the centre of page, I saw a book of the futur, the margins were on right and top ( the space was less to the document edge compared to the opposite direction )
Yes sure! That's right Mohamed, often in books or magazines with a lot of pages, more margins are used on the inside where the fold is. Because this fold in the middle of the book which actually eliminates a space. Therefore, they more often give more margins to the page in the inside. To make the content look optically in the middle :).
You are inspiring me Great topic, I love working with grid system
Thank you Mohamed, it means a lot to me to hear that! these words keep me thriving!👊
Goooood
Thaaaaaankss!!
Keep going Typefool!
Thank you Ziad! I will 😁🙌🏻
Thank you for the insightful discussion on the importance of grids in design! As a magazine layout designer, this is incredibly helpful. I’m excited to see more of your content soon. (Just a suggestion for your next topic: Picking the right typography and pairing!) 🌟
Thank you for your kind words! I am happy to hear you liked the content and find it helpful! That means a lot to me 🙏🏻. That is a nice suggestion for one of my future videos that idea will go on my idea list! Thanks for sharing, and thanks for sticking around mate! 💪🏼
Appreciate your suggestion of typography pairings 💗
@@jmg9509 thank could be a nice video topic, its on the video ideas list!
Really grids are awesome!!!!
That’s what I thought! 💪🏼
If i have more than i like and one subscription i will click it for you man. Thank you so much.
Wow thank you Zainul Abidin for these kind words, that means a lot to me! Glad you liked it 🙌
Your work is Amazing ! 👏
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words 😀
My only issue is that the smallest variation of the logo looks like an italic serif "N", which might be confusing to some of the end users. I think you should have sticked with the "JOR" logotype. But overall I liked your video and the detailed description of your process. Keep it up.
Thanks for the feedback! I hadn't considered that perspective before. The JR brandmark is specifically for small surfaces. Glad you liked the video and process details! 😊
Do you sell this exact template?
Hi Daniel, thank you for asking. Yes I sell all these templates in a bundle which you could find here: www.typefool.shop/product/ultimate-brand-identity-design-bundle/ And the specific brand guidelines template I used in this document is this one: www.typefool.shop/?product=branding-guidelines-template-15 Thank you for watching!
❤❤👏🏻👏🏻💥
Thank you! 🧡
Amazing process. So detailed starting from the strategy all the way to the final presentation. And I loved how cleverly you combined all the keywords and came up with an optimum design. Truly Inspired 💯
Thank you Prashmeet! Appreciate the kind words, and I am happy to hear you find the design clever! 🙏
I stopped watching when saw the brand personality section represented by.. SLIDERS?????
Okay... 😂 I use more exercises to figure out the tone of voice in my brand discovery brief. But anyway what would you suggest?
Please do you have videos on how to sketch logos in illustrator
I have a video where I digitize my sketches in Illustrator, I usually sketch on paper en jump into illustrator afterwards. kzread.info/dash/bejne/mXuF3MGIpcy6iNY.html Hopefully this is helpful :D
Brillant ❤
Thank you! Glad to hear you like it :)
This is the best video I have seen on Brand Identity. Great!
Thank you for the kind words, appreciated! 🙌
Mate! This is absolute gold dust. Thank you for sharing your process
Thanks for your kind words Ben! Means a lot to me 🙌 Glad to hear you liked it!
Is there a specific reason you dont use the actual grid in illustrator?
Yes, because I don’t like working with it 😂 I stare blind on that grid so I rather create myself haha. But both ways will do the job!
@@Typefool fair enough 😅. Kool
every designer should see! the best video i have seen!
Ah thank you Marta for the kind words, highly appreciated!
Great work, keep it up!
Thank you Ziad for sticking around! 👊🏼
Hey Jen, I feel ashamed to ask even more of you after this literal gold mine you have just dumped on us, but is it too intrusive to ask for the following? 1. Regarding the pinterest search, which search terms do you use, and do you have a strategy to come up with them? 2. How many days do you take in each step? On average of course (Brand Strategy Definition, Moodboarding, Stylescaping, Sketching and Refining) I think this is very important to handle the client's expectation correctly. You earned yourself a subscriber. Really looking towards your next drops.
No worries Daniel, happy to hear your questions, and thank you for subscribing, welcome to the channel! To give anwers to your questions: 1. I think you mean visual research with interest search? I usually dive into Pinterest, and search for my visual words and usually add logo design behind that. But also I often find inspiration on the go. Since I am also in my free time just browsing projects etc, I almost always come across something which is useful for the project and drop it on the Pinterest board. And via this pin you can eventually find more of the same style. 2. Around 1/2 days discovery session. 3/4 days brand strategy, moodboarding & stylescape 1 week, sketching and refining also 1/1,5 weeks. In total with presentations it makes around 4 weeks for the logo design. Hope this was helpful! and thanks again for subscribing and happy to hear you liked this video!
Thank you KZread for showing this video to me 💯💥
Haha thank you for watching it and sticking around! 👊😃
Good info but how is this advanced?
Thanks for the feedback! I aimed to mix foundational and advanced tips. I'll dive deeper into more complex topics in future videos such as customizing grids, dynamic layouts, and advanced typography techniques.
Very very good process and design what you have made
Thank you a lot, appreciate the kind words!
