    Someone actually complained you talk too much? Well I don't claim to understand that one but I too appreciate you talking and being so informative. So thank you. This piece is so beautiful and watery ❤

    I have been making this bowl for three years now and haven't had any complaints about it not staying true to color. I do advise people to keep it out of direct sunlight as that will cause the colours to fade.

    It's beautiful, you did an amazing job. How did you get the bottom flat ? Because it was round on the form 🤔

  • @SandyBeachBumTM
    @SandyBeachBumTM24 күн бұрын

    In the case of this particular bowl itself, the resin was not fully cured so when I set it down it flattened itself out. Now I use a quick curing resin where it comes off fully cured and very hard and the bottom is still rounded but, I add more resin to the inside of the bowl which heats up and softens the resin again and then flatten it against the surface it's sitting on.

    Thank you so much for your very generous description of your process for these beautiful bowls, including the products list. Not sure if I'm going to try one myself or just buy one of your yours! Also wondering if these bowls are ok to put food in them?

  • @SandyBeachBumTM
    @SandyBeachBumTM28 күн бұрын

    You could put fruit in them or wrapped candies but I wouldn't put anything else in the way of food in them.

    @@SandyBeachBumTM Thanks. I made several of those ocean wave serving boards and even though the resin was marked as being food safe, many did not want to take the chance so it was a hard sell. These bowls though are just so decoractive I myself would rather just look at them but, yes, wrapped candy might be a nice touch if giving as a gift. Thanks again!
